Last night, Windsor Cinema came alive.

Students, sector practitioners, corporates, minister and community members all in the same room, united by one shared purpose. The energy was everything we hoped for, the film was powerful, and the panel conversation that followed reminded us why this work matters.

Thank you to every single person who showed up last night. Thank you to @amnestyintuwa for bringing the next generation into the room. Thank you to the filmmakers, @christopher_mark_peters , @creativedave , and @tiahna_mcbride , for creating a film that Perth needed to see. And thank you to our extraordinary panel, Simone McGurk, Dawson Ruhl, Louise Lamont and Tori Cooke, for the honest, necessary conversation that followed.
All proceeds from last night's charity screening go directly to supporting the work of Phoenix Support & Advocacy Service.

This is why we do what we do. by @chravecontent

Beyond grateful to @phoenix.advocacy for hosting our film WRECKAGE last night at Windsor Cinema in Nedlands for a very special charity event! What a treat to have expert speakers, politicians, students and movie goers in attendance. Notable mention to @simone.mcgurk for her very enlightening words and introduction.

Chrispy, our own studio manager and indie filmmaker has his second feature film “Wreckage” playing at Windsor Cinema tomorrow in Nedlands (Thursday 30th July) starring a cast of almost entirely Perth Actors Studio alumni! (And a couple scenes were shot here)

This is a special charity screening event with Phoenix Advocacy who provide much needed services for victims of family and domestic violence. Come on down and support a special cause. Limited tickets available via @phoenix.advocacy 🎬🎥 Well done to the entire team! @chravecontent by @chravecontent

Behind Wreckage.

@tiahna_mcbride plays Quinn in Wreckage, a WA-produced film exploring the realities of domestic and sexual violence and interpersonal harm.
We asked her what playing Quinn asked of her as an actress, and what it was like living inside her world.

Wreckage screens Thursday 30 July, 6:00 PM, Windsor Cinema, Nedlands. Followed by a live Q&A panel with the filmmakers and practitioners doing this work in our community.

Tickets via Humanitix. Link in Bio
