Artificial intelligence or Ancestral intelligence? I know where our preference is 🙏💛 @theschoolofbelonging was so honoured to have Mamo Senshina and the ancient word he shares!

He told us clearly humans were created to take care of Mother Earth. Time to put this into practice.

Retreat with Traditonal Kogi Elder
Mamo Senshina

4-9th August

“Mamo comes to honour his duty of transmission, as “elder brother”, to transmit the ancient word of the origins, guardian of the knowledge that allows us to take care of life.”

Expect daily rituals, storytelling, music & medicines from day and into the night. In our opinion the more time you can spend here on the land during the retreat, the richer your experience will be.

Traditional elders don’t tend to stick to strict retreat schedules, magic is found in the spaces around the fire, over food and seemingly impromptu sharings.

Our family spent some time with Mamo on his territory in Colombia last year and it was honestly the most powerfully inspiring experience. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to sit with this great elder.

Children & families very welcome 🤗

More information and booking form via our website. If you have an questions please reach out.

We did it! Two weekends of incredible exploration of Yawanawá culture, stories, music & more. It was such an honour and a blessing to have the one and only Pai Nanî and his family @pakayawanawa @ushunawa_kaya @shayayawanawa - thank you thank you thank you!!

Pai has given his blessing and fully endorses our project @nadeanmagnificentbeings, @ela_la_rose @ellafridabea … The School of Belonging… more info coming soon as well as a crowdfunder, so we can find some land where we can learn to belong again, to the land/ Mother Earth, great spirit and each other, as well as all our non-human relations 🙏💛

And so much thanks to the @anatta_sensorium team and the tireless work they put into bringing this beautiful family to Europe! No mean feat!!

Been a while since I posted. Hello all!
It’s been an incredible journey the last year or so. Mainly that we travelled to the Brazilian rainforest for a deep dive into Yawanawa culture, what a privilege!! The village of Yawaraní is such a special place, and we are blessed to be welcomed into a place of such rich tradition and spiritual depth.
I’m excited so say that the father of the village ‘Pai’ is coming to Kent!! With his family for two weekends of very special retreats.
Do get in touch if you feel called to this study and work. It’s all part of our mission to support their culture as well as remember and rekindle our own sacred connection to Mother Earth and the mystery of life.
Big love 🙏💛🧬🐍 by @chris90foster

Spring foraging, Northern Ireland & Kent… wish I was participating in the @wildbiomeproject but would be difficult being vegan. Inspiring me to eat as much wild food as possible though!

Amazing coastal foraging this afternoon, saw a Red Kite hunting and eating it’s prey. Cooked up the plethora of wild greens inspired by an article I read about foraging in Syria, fried / steamed greens in olive oil with onion. Buckshorn Plantain, sow thistle, mallow, sea beet (biggest leaf I’ve ever seen!), nettle, sea purslane. Even @nadeanmagnificentbeings ate all her greens 😆

Baking test session geek out with some incredible flour from @hodmedods! The @sourdoughschool diversity blend No. 0+ has four different wheats, barley, flamingo peas, rye, malted oats, spelt, nettle and seaweed!!! The New Harvester flour from @smallsuffolkfarmer is new to me and fantastic. Experimental holistic biscuits with some sifted bran, diversity blend, sail shipped panela sugar & olive oil (@kentsailcargo). All squeezed in the oven and baked at the same time 😁 Taste the future! Delicious!
