The Camelot Wheel DJ trick explained. Most of you watched my last video where I showed the Camelot Wheel as a tool that us veteran DJ's use to help incite emotion...but most of you misunderstood the true power of the Wheel. So, the true power of the wheel is knowing what keys will incite what emotion and which keys blend well together to help bring you on that journey you love so much. I have more tips and tricks coming up soon....cause no one else seems to want to reveal all the inside tricks...but i will!

Welcome to another secret reveal from a veteran DJ. Have you ever wondered why a DJ mix just seems to bring you to another level? Wonder why you feel happy, then sad, then excited, then chill...then angry and then happy? Well, it's actually science...and us experienced DJ's use that to our advantage. Let me be clear...most good DJ's just know when something sounds good, but some of you newer DJ's are definately struggling with your mix. It's not technical where you're lacking...it's medical.
You can apply science to your mix to take your audience on a roller coaster ride.
More tips to come...

There's no better feeling than introducing my latest track with NELLY TGM at an event that I planned called Aurora... I was filled full of emotion the entire night and doing a shout out to my kids, because this song was written with them in mind, was the highlight of the night for me.
This song is about keeping up high hopes for your kids, high hopes for your future and for those of you that are generally feeling down and defeated.. just know that hope is never far away if you just reach out and grab it.

I need a new slogan for my radio shows! Make some suggestions in the comments but make them clean versions as the radio shows are on regulated radio stations. Make them EDM related but include underground terminology also!
Trance North Radio and Blackout Radio coming soon! I'm bringing back internet radio without the noize.

Most DJ's use the crossfader for mixing...but veterans like me use the actual channels to mix. Don't get me wrong, there's a time and place for the crossfader (for my scratch DJ friends out there) but most pro DJ's want more control over our mixes...so we use the channel and trim to ensure a smoother mix.
There is no wrong way...but there is a better way. Now you know! Avoid redlining, master proper gain staging and understand the difference between the crossfader and channel faders.
More DJ, producer and event organizer tips and tricks coming up!

Start being part of the solution. If you send a cold DM to a promoter and all you say is "bro, I got skills...I'll bring da crowd man...i DJ like no one else on earth"...congratz, you landed an ignore. Even if you just send your soundcloud mix with a little smiley emoji...you get ignored. The trip to Landing more gigs is to present a solution to common problems that promoters, event organizers and club Owners currently face.. and that is bringing numbers through the door. Letting them know that you're part of the solution, will support them even if you are not chosen, will bring your USB just in case something goes wrong and offering to do an opener set for no charge is the key to gaining popularity and becoming part of the solution.
Just flat out demanding that you get paid is not the best approach especially when starting out.
More tips coming up!

Phase Cancellation is the number 1 thing novice DJ's fail to understand and master. Here is yet another DJ tip from a veteran DJ. If you don't fully grasp why phase cancellation is ruining your mix, your audience will think there is something wrong with the sound system.
We play with knobs so you enjoy the show...now you know.

Yeah...my life is chaos...it always has been...but chaos is what fuels me, it's what gets me out of bed and into the ring...go ahead and knock me down life...but don't expect me to just lie here while you celebrate. You may test my resolve but you can't touch my dreams.
What dream are you fighting back with? Let others know that you also prefer to kick ass from the floor.

I'm just going to leave this right here.. let this be a lesson to anyone that's not feeling themselves and to anyone that thinks you don't matter...the exact opposite is true. The little things we do in life, the nice little gestures we do to humankind and the way we treat our neighbors and Friends will always dictate how we're viewed in the real world.
I'm not anything special.. but I guarantee you that I'll treat you with respect, I will be kind to you, I will care for you as a human being until you give me reason not to.
Now go out there and be the awesome person that you are.. and let the world know that kindness and just being a good person will always win.

“High Hopes” is Out Now!
.
And it was initially a remix for a country song which later was decided to become an original song. A song that @chrisbezzofficial and @msjenniferlynn_ found attractive for a remix but unfortunately (or fortunately?) it didn’t work out. I was honored to be invited to this project to be the singer and songwriter and I was highly inspired by country music and of course Jennifer’s recent activities and etudes on her social media. From my side of the story (NELLY TGM) the way the lyrics started (“Baby let’s get far, as far the eye can see”), the touchable loneliness after the seats are emptied of people after a musical show (even though I still never had any due to my previous geographical restrictions), and the high hopes your community has for you and cheers you up. And from Chris’ side of story, this song is dedicated to his children. Let’s hear from him too!
