LAST SATURDAY RECAP: RENEGADE OPEN MIC WAS A HUGE SUCCESS 🎤🖤

Saturday night, Austin showed up. And wow.

Musicians, poets, storytellers, and listeners all came together to share their art, their hearts, their time, and their attention. We shared food. We shared space. We made memories.

In a world that feels more divided every day, simply gathering as a community is an act of rebellion. Being in a room together, making art together, paying attention to one another? That’s the most renegade thing we can do. 🤠

Thank you to our musicians who brought the songs. Thank you to our poets who brought the words. Thank you to the community members whose shares leaned storyteller and had us hanging on every word. And thank you to everyone who held space and listened, taking it all in. You made the night what it was.

A special thank you to @sean for bringing tea and sharing it with the community as an act of service. Warm cups, warm hearts. 🍵

See y’all out there. 🌙

Tomorrow, October 9th, we let it burn, all the way down to the bottom. Last call to pre-save “Candles” — link in bio.

I can’t stress enough how much it will help if you take the time to pre-save this track. Add it to your playlists… like it… share it with your top 10 people and ask them to share it with like 5 other people. As an independent artists I build my career and survive off of these small acts of kindness and intention. Please share. Please save. Please stream.

Candles PRESAVE link in my bio 🔗

I wrote this song for Olivia during a season when we were actually moving through some heavy stuff.

It was about what happens when love gets difficult. When things get messy, when they feel heavy, when you have to decide whether you’re willing to come back to the table and put in the work.

“Candles” is about that choice.

About coming back.
About showing up.
About the work it takes to move toward someone especially when it isn’t easy.

There’s a weight to loving someone deeply. And sometimes surrender doesn’t mean giving up — it means letting go of your pride, your fear, your need to have everything figured out, and choosing to move toward each other anyway.

Let it burn.

Habibti, I’m still here. Let’s keep choosing each other.
