NEXT UP: RENEGADE SESSIONS HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY 🎃 📅 October 30th, 7 PM 📍 Wishbone Bridge on Pleasant Valley 👀 Come dressed as your favorite renegade, fictional or non-fictional. Heroes, rebels, outlaws, troublemakers, we want them all. 🎟️ Partiful event coming shortly, so keep an eye out for it! — LAST SATURDAY RECAP: RENEGADE OPEN MIC WAS A HUGE SUCCESS 🎤🖤 Saturday night, Austin showed up. And wow. Musicians, poets, storytellers, and listeners all came together to share their art, their hearts, their time, and their attention. We shared food. We shared space. We made memories. In a world that feels more divided every day, simply gathering as a community is an act of rebellion. Being in a room together, making art together, paying attention to one another? That’s the most renegade thing we can do. 🤠 Thank you to our musicians who brought the songs. Thank you to our poets who brought the words. Thank you to the community members whose shares leaned storyteller and had us hanging on every word. And thank you to everyone who held space and listened, taking it all in. You made the night what it was. A special thank you to @sean for bringing tea and sharing it with the community as an act of service. Warm cups, warm hearts. 🍵 See y’all out there. 🌙 #RenegadeSessions #AustinMusic #ATXOpenMic #ThingsToDoATX #AustinLiveMusic

We’re back. 🌙 Join us Friday, September 25th for the next Renegade Sessions — our little Austin pop-up music series where we bring good music, good people, and good energy into some of the city’s most unexpected spaces. We’ve played beneath the glowing treehouse at Pease Park. We’ve taken over the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge. And this time? We’ve got another spot in mind. 👀 📍 WHERE? We’re keeping that one under wraps for now. 🎶 WHO? Robb Safko of EYERL — bringing an intimate acoustic performance to Renegade Sessions. 🎤 HOST: Chris Bronson 📅 WHEN: Friday, September 25 ⏰ MUSIC: ~8 PM EYERL’s sound pulls from soul, alternative, folk, pop & jazz, exploring the strange and beautiful dualities of being human — with a philosophy rooted in returning to the source, to ourselves, and to community. Sounds pretty Renegade to us. ✨ No tickets. Just RSVP. Bring your friends, a blanket, a water bottle, some snacks if you want to share, and your best people. And yes… we’ll be revealing the location soon. 😉 👉 RSVP via the link in bio / Partiful Come hang. Stay curious. We’ll see y’all somewhere in Austin. P.S. Artist tips & donations are always welcome and deeply appreciated ❤️ We’ll have Venmo QR codes available day-of if you’d like to show the artists some love. #AustinMusic #AustinLiveMusic #ATXMusic #AustinEvents #FreeLiveMusicATX

It’s never a bad option to spend the first Wednesday of every month at the @bmi Texas Acoustic Lounge at the Saxon Pub in Austin where you can see some of the best rising talent in songwriting, and it’s totally FREE. Was an especially good week with Carlton Anderson singing a song he wrote for Cody Johnson, the incredible Otis Wilkins who is one of the coolest rising voices in folk music, Lindsay Beaver from Canada who put the love for Texas to song perfectly, Tim Lopez who brings a ton of energy (he had to stand up to play), who also plays in Timothy Howls and The Plain White Ts. Chris Bronson and Colin Colby also impressed with original songs. It’s moments like these curated by @ktowner132 and @mitch_ballard at BMI that are keeping the art of songwriting alive.
