Walk 002 felt special…the energy, the conversations, the views. Each time we do this, it becomes clearer that The Walk Club is more than just steps… it’s connection, community, and something we’re building together. Thank you @fitbarcafe for helping us have a meeting place to build this community.

Crazy how life works.

Growing up I was the kid sketching shoes in notebooks and telling people I wanted to design sneakers one day. I never imagined DJing. Never imagined creating a wellness community. Definitely never imagined standing inside a Brooks store hosting an event through something we built from an idea.

But somehow all of it keeps connecting.

Music brought me places. Community gave me purpose. @thewalkclb showed up at a moment in life when I was looking for what was next… and somehow all these different versions of myself keep meeting in the middle.

@brooksrunning has been supporting us since some of the early walks, so this one felt bigger than an event. It felt full circle. The sneaker kid in me was paying attention.

Still got goals though. Designing a shoe is still on the list. Still praying on it. Still asking. Still believing.

Some dreams just take the scenic route.

THE COMMUNITY ALWAYS KNOWS BEFORE YOU DO.

I’m also learning I’m not trying to be locked into one version of myself.

DJ. Founder. Father. Creative. Community builder.

For a while I thought I had to choose one lane. Thought everything had to make sense before stepping into the next chapter.

Now I’m realizing the through line has always been the same: bringing people together and creating spaces that feel real.

@thewalkclb started during a season where I knew I needed something new. I didn’t fully know what it was yet — I just trusted my experience, trusted the people around me, and walked toward opportunities.

That’s what I got to speak about at @cre8tesummit — building beyond social media, trusting ideas before they’re fully formed, and creating community that exists in real life.

What I didn’t know was how many other people needed that space too.

Every walk, every conversation, every person who shows up reminds me this is becoming something bigger than I imagined.

Still building. Still learning. Still walking toward it.

This felt like a new chapter.

AfterMiles — our first official run, built alongside BMR Seattle and supported by our first official water partner @drinkcascade

A few months ago, this was just an idea.
Now we’re mapping routes, showing up early, running together, and building something that’s starting to take shape in real time.

The Walk Club was never just about walking.
It’s about movement, community, and creating space for people to show up however they need to.

Running is just another layer of that.

Grateful for everyone who came out, and everyone helping push this forward.
