Capping the San Diego series off with a set from the Timbers vs SD FC match. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to be on the pitch making photos, but still such a treat to photograph it from the bleachers. I grew up playing and attending all kinds of sporting events and still nothing matches the energy of footy fans. Can’t wait to be a neutral for Belgium vs Egypt in Seattle next month ⚽️

Had to throw in one of my favorite throwback fifa songs in for the vibes too. If you know you know. taken in Snapdragon Stadium by @chrisfo_

Always a fun challenge to try and make photos during a family vacation. We spent mornings walking to coffee shops, afternoons driving up and down the coast, and evenings soaking in all the ocean views. A much needed and relaxing trip to the coast after a long winter spent in the mountains.

RESULTS AT END 🫡 …forecast called for a “light drizzle” but turned into a snow globe a minute after rolling up to the trailhead. “There’s no such thing as bad weather” as they say. // Always a good time shooting with @chrisfo_ 📸 🏃🏼‍♀️ #trailrunning #photography #photoshoot #oregon #running by @chrisfo_

Thankful for homies who are always willing to get outside to take photos. Especially in the cold and unpredictable weather that spring time in Bend gives us.

Highway 4 sweet spot on 35mm film 🎞️🐻 taken in Bear Valley Mountain Resort by @chrisfo_

A year ago today I was wandering around the Northern California coast with some friends and our cameras. I was making photographs for a book I was working on, which ended up serving as my senior capstone project at OSU Cascades. Fast forward to present day - I have decided that I’m ready for these photographs to be released to the public.

The In-Betweens is a collection of photographs that pays tribute to the overlooked and unspoken moments in life. I wanted to emphasize how important the seconds between conversation and silence are, the pause before the shutter is pressed, and the small gestures that can make a place feel alive. Not quite arriving, not quite leaving, but just existing.

The In-Betweens was shot entirely on 35mm film, my favorite medium. This work is deeply personal to me as it resembles the landscapes that shaped me, friendships that anchored me, and the sense of creative clarity that’s driven me to where I am today.

11.8x11.8. 62 photos of C-41 and B&W 35mm film. With a few words that I wrote about my time spent living in Humboldt County.

If you’d like to purchase a copy, please do so via my website chrisfregosiphoto.com or use the link in my bio. You can always shoot me a dm as well!

Pre-order sale starts today and will end on April 8th.

Cheers
