POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

my debut album is out today!

What a milestone.

It’s called “where do we go from here” and maps out the last decade of my life. Everything I’ve had to learn about the systems that shape and define every aspect of our lives: patriarchy, capitalism and white supremacy.

“where do we go from here” is a reckoning with the pain caused by male violence, and a confrontation with my own complicity. It is at times helpless, at other times hopeful. It is full of anger and hate, but also full of radical love, tenderness and care.

But above all it is resistance.

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate this body of work with me on Wednesday. Thanks for resisting with me. May we have the strength to never let these bastards grind us down.

In solidarity,
chrisi
