Almost a year later but the love is still VERY on time 💕 Throwing it back to our baby shower from April 2025 — because honestly, the gratitude just keeps growing.

Huge love to Aja @the_sportsmindset and Brooke, who threw us the most thoughtful, joy-filled celebration, and to Julie @4thejpexperience , who absolutely outdid herself with the most beautiful decor (still not over it). Truly magic ✨

To every friend and family member who showed up for Eric and me whether you were actually physically present that day or not — thank you. We had people flying in from all over the country and world (literally), people sending gifts, and people sending a lot of prayers. We have used everything. And I mean everything!! So many things we didn’t even know we’d need, we thankfully had. That kind of love and foresight is unreal.

Full-circle moment: the onesie decorating station is officially entering its ERA. Now that Skye can finally fit them, they’re going into heavy daily wardrobe rotation and we couldn’t be more excited 🍼👕💫. Please, let us know which one is yours when we post it.

7 weeks of Skye 🌙…

Somewhere between “Is it Tuesday?” and “Did we eat today?” we missed the 1-month photo op because we were too busy trying to keep a tiny human alive and occasionally locate our sanity and get some sleep.

But hey—she’s thriving and we’re upright (barely, she stayed awake from 2:30am-6:30am just last night). But life is to be lived in the moment and this is our beautifully chaotic moment. Happy 7 weeks!!!

Introducing the MVP of our lives… Skye Alexandria Retha Thomas ☁️👑 Born 7.1.25 | 6lbs 3.8oz | 19 inches of pure determination 💪🏽

She made her grand entrance 3 weeks early — likely because she didn’t want to miss the party (just like her parents, who were literally at a WNBA game and turning up hours before we checked into the hospital 😅).

She’s sweet, demanding (especially when that bottle’s late), unbothered by sleep schedules — and already proving to be a relentless little force during tummy time. Future team captain energy, for sure.

We’ve discovered a whole new level of love through the fog of 3 a.m. feedings and newborn lullabies sung in delirium. Getting this post up took a month — and still missed her one-month milestone! Classic us.
But she’s here. She’s magic. She is our moonrise, our sunrise, our Skye. ☁️💗
