POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Leaving the Grey Lady’s cradle meant touching everything I own and keeping one box. The rest went to family, the Take-It-Or-Leave-It, and the thrift racks, each piece thanked on its way out. A nor’easter, a college poem, and the prune of a lifetime.

The full essay is live on christianmack3.blog. Link in bio.

What would make it into your one box?

Twenty-five dollars on India Street to backstage at New York Fashion Week. My little black linen blazer carried me through Proenza Schouler and Tory Burch without breaking a sweat. The full story, from pharaohs to the Flax Belt to the Hospital Thrift Shop, is live now. Link in bio. We all get dressed, we all shop, and we all get ready with the Man in the Mirror. New on the blog: what fabric content actually has to do with your values, and why I’m calling it consumer health. Link in bio.

My Nantucket style taught me that style was never optional. It the first decision you make before the day makes any for you. Conformity flatten people, confidence, and leisure allow people to beam. My work is motivated by promoting this idea, and moving the needle on why conformity needs compassionate attention as a mental health issue.

New article on why personal style is a mental health parameter live now at christianmack3.blog, link in bio.

Meet Hunky-Dory, the first of three Nantucket architecture inspired jackets.

Marcos and I designed this series of jackets with a whole lot of love, inspired by Nantucket’s charm and the island representing a place for our creative inspiration to come together.

His architecture and design perspective coupled with mine of photography and art direction have brought to you this first collection of images.

I wrote more about the whole process of how it came together, read more on my blog! Link in bio.

I’m finding the words for something…

My blog began as a way to describe my personal style. It’s become the place where I stop pretending career and creativity are two separate conversations. Turns out coherence beats category every time, and refusing to fit into a niche might be the most stylish decision I’ve ever made.

My new post is now live on christianmack3.blog. Also teasing a project I’ve been building with my boyfriend, so stay tuned for more exciting updates!

Shopping as a hobby isn’t about consumption. It’s what happens when a space earns your curiosity.

My new article is live on the blog: the art direction of shopping, Stendhal syndrome in the store, and why merchandising is key. Link in bio.

While we’re on the topic of my latest blog post:

@commonwealthnantucket and I teamed up for a photoshoot! @kaitlynnnmurphy and I styled some special gems from the shop, and built a colorful and bright capsule to feature on the website.

Over the years, the team at Commonwealth has been so kind in helping me find pieces that go beyond sole curation for women, and the styling in this shoot embodies the joy I feel playing with their curation.

They know just as well as I do; I’m not the expected client. But we also understand having a sense of style goes beyond expectation… it’s an exploration. It hits one of my main fashion pillars; style expressing an inner essence. Why relegate that essence to such strict gender guidelines, when allowing clothing to be genderless is a welcome broadening of the scope of expression?

Commonwealth is one of my community touch-points for this reason. I’m a shopper at heart, and many of my interactions with the community take place within the circular fashion ecosystem, meeting likeminded people who are conscious of their duty to the environment, price accessibility, and expressing their inner star🌟

Big love to Commonwealth for bringing their style to town, and stay tuned for more!
