Auburn, you have been so good to me! The best 4 yrs I could’ve asked for. The little girl who loved drawing houses and making paper shoes did it.

So grateful for the @au_envd program and all my professors who challenged me, believed in me, and let me explore all the crazy things I wanted to create. I found so much of who I am as a designer here and learned to love design more than I ever thought I could. Every all-nighter was worth it lol. It will always be War Eagle 🦅🧡

Room for a Cube ⛅️
-
ENVD 2010 S25 w/ EF
-
The Room for a Cube encapsulates a space created for a cube cloudscape. Inspired by staged lighting, musical mobiles, and playscapes, the room emerges as the final translation in a series of studies including collages, a mapping focused on erasure, and a 3D cube translation derived from the mapping.

Mapping [e ra sur e ⟡]
-
ENVD 2010 S25 w/ EF
-
Vector + Pixel Mapping. Given the individual task of designing erasure and redaction as a field condition, fragments of memory emerge: present, fading, gone. Explored through playful linework, varying lineweights, and an aggregation of pixels and patterns.

Leaf Study
-
ENVD 2000 F24 w/ KH
-
Developed as part of a “slow practices” exercise centered on deliberate drawing practices and analog value studies. The final leaf rendering experiments with extended lighting conditions, introducing a more challenging lighting study as an individual exploration.

A series of sketches were also included, in which my studies focused on texture, lighting, tone, shadow, and form through close observation, refining my eye for detail.

Field of Tension
-
ENVD 2000 F24 w/ KH
-
A special piece for me. This drawing was the final assignment for my first ENVD class. The work explores abstract spatial tension.
