Auburn, you have been so good to me! The best 4 yrs I could’ve asked for. The little girl who loved drawing houses and making paper shoes did it.

So grateful for the @au_envd program and all my professors who challenged me, believed in me, and let me explore all the crazy things I wanted to create. I found so much of who I am as a designer here and learned to love design more than I ever thought I could. Every all-nighter was worth it lol. It will always be War Eagle 🦅🧡

I witnessed yet another milestone yesterday as my sister walked across that stage and received the degree she worked so hard to earn. 🎓🤍

Through the late nights, the sacrifices, the stress, the tears, and the moments when giving up probably would’ve been easier, I witnessed it all. You kept going.

And the part I’m most proud of? Nobody did it for you. YOU did the work. YOU made the sacrifices. YOU earned this.

Ever since we were little girls, you’ve always thrived. Never caught up in things that could distract you from where you were trying to go. You kept your eyes on your future and stayed focused on following your dreams.

And somehow, through every accomplishment, you’ve remained the same person. Humble, loving, giving, and never needing to compete with or diminish anyone else to feel good about yourself. You genuinely celebrate other people, and I truly believe that’s one of the reasons so much love surrounds you today. When your heart is pure, you don’t have to beg for people to celebrate you. The love simply finds you. 🤍

“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” — James 4:6

I have always been your #1 fan, your protector, your best friend, and one of the loudest people in your corner. Watching you accomplish another goal that once existed only as a dream makes me prouder than I could ever put into words. You’re the best sister I could ever ask for and the best auntie our boys could ever have. The way you love us, show up for us, and pour into our family, we are so blessed to have you. 🤍

And the beautiful thing is… you’re STILL not done.

Now I get to watch my little sister pack her bags and head to the University of Michigan to pursue yet another dream. 💙💛 From one graduation stage to the beginning of another chapter, you continue to show that when you know where you’re going, you don’t have to stop to prove anything to anybody along the way.

Congratulations, sister. You earned every bit of this moment. And I’ll be right here cheering you on for every milestone still to come. 🤍🎓
