Meet the voice of our Night in Venice. 🎭🕯️

Soprano Christina Thanisch-Smith has sung with Calgary Opera in Don Giovanni and L’elisir d’amore, and most recently in Carmina Burana at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. Opera Canada praised her “shimmering vocals with pitch-perfect intonation.”

On October 23, she’s leaving the big stage behind to sing just a few steps from your table, with pianist Evan Mounce by her side.

Scarlatti mode: ACTIVATED | happy to be back on home turf this week performing with the @wpgsymphony. Catch us this Thursday in Winnipeg and Sunday in Brandon!

Additionally, I’ll be giving back to the community that raised me with a fundraising recital at Westworth United Church on Friday evening. Proceeds will go towards their choral scholar program, a fund that helped me for many years in my early singing development 🤎
