Today didn’t go the way I hoped, but I’m still walking away incredibly proud. ❤️

I lost my matches today, but I’m so grateful for the opportunity to compete at ADCC Worlds alongside some of the best athletes in the sport. Just being here was a dream, and I know I earned my place through all the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices that got me to this moment.

I may not have ended up on the podium this time, but I’m proud of myself for never giving up and for having the courage to step on the mat and compete at the highest level.

This isn’t the end it’s just the beginning. 💪🏼

Today gave me lessons, experience, and even more motivation. I’ll take everything I learned, work even harder, and come back stronger next time.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me, supported me, and helped me get here. This one is just part of the journey.

Lastly i want to thank my coach @christopher_might and coach @nicole.j.mathew and my @method_jiu_jitsu family for being there for me and cheering me on. I also want to thank @gaidama.usa for the support. See everyone Tuesday at practice. ❤️ by @christopher_might

This week, @krocky___ earned his Black Belt. A founding member at Method, Jeff has been a valuable and consistent training partner, working not just to improve his own skill sets, but always working to help his teammates.

Congratulations, Jeff. Welcome to the rest of your journey. taken in Method Jiu Jitsu by @christopher_might

I came into Pan Kids as the lowest seed in a bracket of 18 girls, having never competed in an IBJJF Open before.

Five matches later…
🥇 Pan Kids Champion
✅ 5 wins
🤝 5 submissions

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without so many amazing people.

Thank you to Coach Chris for everything you’ve taught me and for always believing in me. Thank you to Coach Nicole for being such an incredible role model and inspiring me every day. I’m lucky to train at Method Jiu-Jitsu, surrounded by amazing coaches and teammates who push me to become better every day.

I’m also incredibly grateful to Professor João for welcoming us into the team and making us feel like family throughout this tournament.

And thank you to my mom, dad, and little brother for every practice, every road trip, and for always supporting my dreams.

Winning Pan Kids without ever competing in an IBJJF Open before is something I’ll never forget. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped me get here.

This is just the beginning. ❤️ 🥋 🥇#ibjj #ibjjfpans by @christopher_might

@amelia.dok_jj put on quite a performance today at @jjworldleague , going 4-0, all wins via submission, and showcasing some new skills she’s been working on in the training room.

The future is bright.
