1 OF 1 - We are extremely excited to present renderings for our first fire rebuild in the Palisades. This beautiful traditional brick house is ready to invite our client and his family back home. Goes without saying but we are honored to be a part of the rebuilding efforts out there. Fun and very personal fact about this rendering and this project……..the classic car that we show in the rendering is a very close representation of our clients car that was parked on the street and DID survive the fire. It’s all about the details that make all these project extra special for each of our clients. Look forward to sharing more on this one……stay tuned! We must continue to pray and stay strong as a community and get through this together.

Sending extra love and support for the all the first responders and all forces that are risking their lives to protect our neighborhoods. Very thankful for all that you do.

TRADE TALES
Catch our podcast interview with @knpetersen on @businessofhome on our new venture into professionally uncoupling.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview that explains our reason for making new paths.

It’s been nearly 13 years since husband-and-wife team Christopher Courts and Edel Legaspi launched their Los Angeles–based full-service interior design and architecture studio. During that time, their vision—for design and for their business—was completely intertwined.
But this year they decided it was time to split up (not their marriage, just their design firm). It wasn’t that their working relationship had soured, or communication had gone south—in fact, their partnership was so strong that to the rest of the industry, their creative processes seemed inseparable. In reality, their firm had grown from a two-person, one-stop-shop to two creatives each with their own networks of collaborators.

Although we are working on various new separate projects our current collaboration on existing projects remain business as usual. We are still pursuing joint projects that make sense for the client and for those who want us all in. We are also excited to be collaborating with our amazing network of designer and architect community.
Legaspi Courts Design will focus more on interiors and you can follow Chris @christophercourts_studio for all the amazing architectural projects his studio is working on.
We look forward to this new venture and thankful for all your support!
Take a listen to the entire interview on our link in bio.
