In advance of the midterm elections, the brilliant, prescient playwright Caryl Churchill’s newest short play TRIUMPH makes its joint world premiere at The Public Theater alongside a concurrent production at London’s @almeida_theatre.

Inspired by Suetonius’s The Twelve Caesars, TRIUMPH is the story of Iris, press secretary to the Roman emperors, directed by Saheem Ali and featuring Annaleigh Ashford, Christopher Ryan Grant, and Joe Tapper!

Don’t miss this provocative clash of past and present, popping up on select dates this fall before mainstage performances. FREE standby tickets will become available in person each day of the performance 30 minutes prior to curtain. taken in The Public Theater by @christopherryangrant
