Still taking this one in… 🥹🏆

For the THIRD year in a row, The Dance Space has been voted Best of South Carolina.

This award belongs to every dancer who has walked through our doors, every family who has supported us, and every teacher who pours their heart into this space.

Thank you for three unforgettable years of love and support. We’re just getting started 💫💜

A little heart. A little sass. A little main-character energy. ✨

Our October adult pop-ups are bringing Lyrical, Femme Hip-Hop, and Industry Hip-Hop to The Dance Space.

Three chances to move differently, try something new, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.

We’re not just teaching little dancers…

We’re helping them become little humans who are confident enough to try, independent enough to figure it out, and kind enough to cheer someone else on 💫 taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @chsdancespace

Love teaching adults? Love good technique? Love a room full of dancers who actually want to be challenged? We want to meet you 💫

We’re hiring an Adult Int/Adv Instructor who’s comfortable teaching multiple styles, bringing strong technique, and creating a welcoming room where dancers can grow.

Our ideal instructor can move between technique-focused and choreography-based classes and adapt their teaching to different styles and movement qualities.

Must be available on Tuesday evenings.
Visit our website to apply or reach out to Allie at allie@chsdancespace.com ✅

You don’t have to know what you’re doing before you walk into the room. That’s what class is for.

Come curious. Come willing to learn. Come exactly as you are. 🩰

My auntie reminded me that it’s okay to be proud of the things you’ve worked hard for… so here we are 😅

But if I’m being honest, these awards make me think less about what I’ve accomplished and more about the little girl who started it all.

The girl who loved to dance so much that she never stopped to wonder where it might lead. She just kept showing up for something she loved.

And somehow, that little girl’s love became all of this.

I wish I could sit next to her for a minute…
I hope she knows how proud I am of her. 🤍

OUR GIRL IS HITTING THE BALLROOM FLOOR 💃🔥

We are SO excited to cheer on our fearless leader and studio owner, Allie, as she dances alongside Mayor Will Haynie this Thursday for Charleston’s very first Battle of the Ballroom!

A little Dancing With The Stars.
A little friendly competition.
A LOT of community spirit.
And an incredible cause.

Battle of the Ballroom benefits the Charleston County School District Academic Project Fund, supporting initiatives including Universal Pre-K, educator professional development, literacy programs, and more.

What an amazing class with Jason Fowler 💫

A class where we explored movement, meaning, intention, and the space in between. A reminder that movement is so much more than steps… it’s about what we’re trying to say, what we’re trying to feel, and how we choose to communicate it through our bodies.

Jason challenged us to move with curiosity, to find meaning in our choices, and to let the movement come from somewhere deeper than just the choreography.

So grateful for the opportunity to learn, explore, and be reminded why we dance.

Thank you, Jason, for sharing your artistry, perspective, and movement with us. by @chsdancespace

Movement doesn’t always have to be about pushing harder. Sometimes it’s about slowing down, reconnecting with your body, and leaving class feeling a little more like yourself.

Join us for $5 Week, September 21–26 and try Movement Mends. A feel-good class designed to help you move, stretch, strengthen, release tension, and reconnect with your body.

No pressure. No perfection. Just movement that feels GOOD.

$5 classes all week long! September 21–26 💫
Come try something new, or come back to movement you’ve been missing.

Your body deserves movement that gives something back ✨
