I haven’t taught Femme Hip-Hop in a hot minute… so naturally, I decided my birthday was the perfect excuse to bring it back. 😂

FEMME HIP-HOP IS MAKING A COMEBACK, BABY!🔥

We’re bringing back the sass, the confidence, the femme energy, and probably a few muscles that may or may not remember what we’re doing. 🥴

Come celebrate my birthday the only way that makes sense: on the dance floor, with good music and an unreasonable amount of baddie energy 💁🏽‍♀️

We’re outside(ish). 😅🫶🏽

My auntie reminded me that it’s okay to be proud of the things you’ve worked hard for… so here we are 😅

But if I’m being honest, these awards make me think less about what I’ve accomplished and more about the little girl who started it all.

The girl who loved to dance so much that she never stopped to wonder where it might lead. She just kept showing up for something she loved.

And somehow, that little girl’s love became all of this.

I wish I could sit next to her for a minute…
I hope she knows how proud I am of her. 🤍

What an incredible group of people. I loved every second of getting to capture the powerhouse production they put on that night. And all the fun they had doing it. Such an amazing community Allie has cultivated at The Dance Space!!
