We had such a great time celebrating 20 years of @dancingwiththestars Felt a bit like a High School reunion of sorts. Can’t believe I was on the show 16 years ago! WOW. Being back reminded me of how special that show truly is and why it has lasted as long as it has. The judges, the crew, the cast. Simply amazing. Congratulations 🎉 Glad to be a small part of it. by @chuckwicks

Gonna be a fun journey with @kasirosa and @jasonaldean sharing the family story of our Cuban roots! More details on that soon..
In the meantime the best thing you can do for us to support and join our story is to head over to Melorosa.com and grab some wine we personally curated from our family to yours! Here’s to Faith, Family and Freedom! by @chuckwicks

🧩 TUCKER’S STEM CELL THERAPY JOURNEY FOR AUTISM 💙

We’ve received lots of questions, so I wanted to share a little about Tucker’s treatment!

🩺 What did Tucker receive?
50 million investigational mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) through an IV infusion.

💤 Did he need sedation?
Sedation is NOT typically required. However, Tucker needed it because he wouldn’t tolerate an IV while awake.

His nausea afterward was related to the sedation, not necessarily the stem cells. Without sedation, the process would have been much quicker!

📍 Where did we go?
BetterStem in Miami, Florida.

BetterStem offers investigational stem cell treatments under Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols and uses ethically sourced MSCs.

✨ What are the potential benefits?
Early research is exploring possible improvements in:

• Behavior, focus & social interaction
• Language & communication
• Sleep quality
• Neurological function

🤍 Is it a cure?
No. Stem cell therapy is still experimental for autism, and results are not guaranteed.

🩵 Is it safe?
Some early studies have reported no serious treatment-related adverse events, but long-term safety and effectiveness are still being studied.

💵 Cost: can be based on weight as to how many cells are recommended. Tucker weighs 48lb. Cost was $10,900

Our hope: To support Tucker’s development and quality of life. We know every child is different, and we’re simply sharing our personal journey as we learn along the way. 💙

Stem cell therapy is not FDA-approved to treat autism. #autism #stemcell #miami by @chuckwicks

Ever wonder what it’s actually like to film a movie? Here’s a little glimpse behind the holiday magic of “Silver Bells at Christmas.”🎄

What we try to make look effortless on screen is usually anything but. 😂 A scene might involve 2-3 cameras rolling from multiple angles, giant lights pointed at you, a boom mic hovering overhead, 30 crew members just outside the frame, airplanes or rain halting momentum, 85° heat in coats and scarves, reciting lines rewritten mere moments before “ACTION!” … and then, “CUT!” We reset and do it again. Often several times, from slightly different angles, distances, or emotional intentions.

The magic is in creating a believable world within all that machinery. Our director, @brandonclarkfilms, was incredibly interactive and collaborative, stepping in to refine, make adjustments and help us build these characters in their world. That balance of structure and play is a huge part of what makes being on set so fulfilling and fun.

Furthermore, I was lucky enough to share it with @ryanmcpartlin , @chuckwicks, @taylorkalupa, and @rachelstitt_ . ❤️ The transitions between reality and “rolling“ were nearly seamless with such playful partners and dear friends. 😂

It’s a pretty surreal way to bring a story to life and make it feel truthful for an audience. And seeing all those little pieces come together in the finished film? That’s the best part — it’s an actual “motion picture” scrapbook of all the memories we got to create behind the scenes. 🎥✨

We can’t wait to share #SilverBellsAtChristmas with you on @greatamericanfamily October 17. Catch it early on October 15 with your @greatamericanpureflix subscription!
