Reflectik is the creative collaboration of Téa Chura and Channing Watkins. East Nashville locals, they met at the dog park and quickly sparked a strong musical connection that combines the flavors of indie rock, ambient and art music into a dream-like, groove-based sound built around texture, movement, and atmosphere.

Rather than working from fixed roles, Téa and Channing build songs collaboratively. Their process moves freely between songwriting, improvisation, production and sound design, with each arrangement shaped as much by instinct and texture as by traditional structure.

Reflectik is interested in the space between the immediate and the abstract, music that can feel intimate and human while leaving room for ambiguity, repetition and atmosphere.

Now, Reflectik is turning that shared language into its first collection of songs, continuing to explore what happens when the boundaries between writing, performance and production are allowed to blur.

AUDACITY opens at the @arcadeartsnash August 8th with a performance by Iriamu @iriamu.music from 6-9pm. Hope to see you there

MORE
This show brings together artists and designers from around the country who through various art forms explore their personal perspectives on political issues and the current administration. The work is steeped in issues of identity in the US, experiences with policy and politics, and repeated histories.

The concept is to gather in this time, inspired by Rebecca Solnit’s 2024 inauguration event “The Way We Get Through This is Together: Celebrating Community” in which Charlie Jane Anders says “throw parties, build new systems. Those are kind of the same thing.”

Artists include Sharon Kagan (Los Angeles), Terry Holzgreen (Los Angeles), Adrienne Outlaw (St. Louis), E. A. Cox (Nashville), Delanyo Mensah (Nashville), Tricia Townes (Nashville), Iriamu (Atlanta), Moises Salazar (Chicago), Omari Booker (Nashville), Bill Brimm (Nashville), Sibyl Wickersheimer (Los Angeles), Deb O (New York), Liz Eve (Nashville), and Bethany Fancher (Nashville).

This exhibition will run from August 6th to August 27th, 2026 at The Arcade Arts downtown Nashville (223 4th Ave N, Nashville, TN, Gallery 55).

The opening (August 8th 6-9pm, Arcade Arts Nashville Art Crawl) includes a performance throughout the night by interdisciplinary musician, Iriamu, from Atlanta. Iriamu uses found objects that can sound ugly but end up creating sonic soundscapes, similar to the juxtaposition of the current administration versus the overall beauty of the American people. by @churatea
