A death binder offers a clear plan and emergency information for loved ones or caregivers. 💜

Join us to dedicate time to completing your Death Binder and to answer any questions you may have. We are excited to gather as a community for these important conversations and enjoy a potluck meal together. We invite you to bring a dish to share with everyone.

Please bring all your certificates, asset information, legal documents, financial records, and health information to make copies for your binder. The more documents you have, the better prepared you’ll be.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible! We want to provide you with instructions and documents to prepare for the day. We will provide printed packets of the Death Binder and Life Care Planning materials. You will also have access to our copier to make copies of any documents.

We are pleased to announce that we will provide free Notary Services. Please bring valid, unexpired identification (U.S. or foreign) if you would like your documents notarized.

A $15 donation would be greatly appreciated.

Beginning this month, we are holding a Family Wellbriety Talking Circle every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 8pm.

This talking circle is intended to break the cycle of addiction in families affected by alcohol and substance use.

Please be sure to register in advance by filling out our tonalpahqui form. When you do, our lead social worker will reach out to do a check-in prior to your first circle attendance.

A glance at the Death Binder we help you prepare for you or your loved ones. This is something that although can be uncomfortable to do, is very necessary and helpful for those that are a part of someone’s transition. Whether anticipated or unexpected, loss is an incredibly difficult and delicate time. Preparing with a death binder helps make the logistical side of things easier so family can have more room to grieve.

Join us this Saturday October 17th from 10am to 12pm to prepare your death binder. We ask for a $15 donation. All materials are provided + notary services. +You will have community members guiding you and ready to answer any questions.

We are thrilled to welcome local Chef Maria Parra Cano from the @cihuapactlicollective as a guest chef in our very own KIDchen! Chef Maria will guide us through the creation of Alegrías de Amaranto, a traditional Mexican Amaranth Treat, as part of our ongoing celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

She is an Ancestral Foods Chef who shares Indigenous food traditions through community cooking classes, workshops, and cultural education. The Cihuapactli Collective was at the 1st Spike for Strength Volleyball Tournament today!!

The Tonalpahqui team shared words with both parents and athletes around mental health and substance use prevention along with collaborators @south_mountain_works & Dr. Murphy.

This was a dream of our young comadrita Yolehua, who dreamt a day of volleyball and mental health conversations & activities for her and other young girls in Phoenix. These are the most challenging times for our youth, their mental health and overall wellness matters. 🙏🏽

A special thanks to our @cihuapactlicollective comadres & compadres who came through to support. 💗

So proud of all the teams. Each one of the ladies gave it their all!! Many thanks to the @cchsgirlsvolleyball_ and to @rsdno66 for the support! 🏐

A big shout out and thanks to the coaches and parents for spending the day with us and supporting their athletes on their journey. 🙌🏽

Thank you to the food vendors @desertrosecoffee_phx, @la_gran_papota and @acrelotes for nurturing everyone throughout the day. 😋
