Domi🌬

🏐❤️ Spike for Strength: More Than Just Volleyball! What started as an idea from our South Phoenix Rebels athletes during a retreat with Vive18 became something so much bigger! ❤️ On September 19th, we watched our athletes turn their vision into reality with Spike for Strength, a mental health awareness volleyball tournament created to bring South Phoenix athletes together, build connections, and remind our youth that mental health matters. We could not be more proud of these young leaders! They didn't just show up to play volleyball. They helped inspire an event that brought our community together around something that truly matters. And to top it all off... our Rebels took home the championship! 🏆🔥 A heartfelt THANK YOU to Vive18, Cihuapactli Collective, South Mountain WORKS Coalition, South Phoenix Lights, Roosevelt School District, and Dr. Cynamon Murphy for the love, partnership, and support that helped bring our athletes' vision to life. And to our South Phoenix community, thank you for showing up, cheering our athletes on, and being part of something special. This is what happens when we give our youth a voice and a village that believes in them. ❤️ We can't wait to bring Spike for Strength back next year! 🏐💪 #SpikeForStrength #SouthPhoenixRebels #MentalHealthMatters #YouthLeadership #SouthPhoenix

The Cihuapactli Collective is an indigenous organization that has inspired us at Indigo for years. They have built healing pathways firmly rooted in culture, ceremony, and community as they support the many layers that surround children and families. We are THRILLED to bring them to our Visionary Speaker Series and hope you join us! About the workshop ➡️ Lasting child, family, and community wellbeing requires more than individual healing—it requires transforming the systems and relationships that perpetuate harm while strengthening accountability, cultural identity, and community leadership. Rather than approaching healing as a single program, healing justice is integrated across the Cihuapactli Collective’s four bundles—Cultural Revitalization & Education, Food Justice & Land Restoration, Birth Equity & Reproductive Justice, and Mental Health & Integrative Wellness—to address the historical, cultural, social, spiritual, and structural conditions that impact Urban Indigenous families and communities of color. Join two of the Cihuapactli Collective co-founders, Dr. Enjolie Lafaurie and Maria del Carmen Parra Cano, as they discuss advancing a vision of justice where families, communities, and future generations can thrive with dignity, belonging, cultural continuity, and self-determination. Link in bio to register!
