What if our best work is not done when everything is perfect, but when we face challenges with grace and choose to show up with integrity despite it all?

What if the work we're most proud of happens when we're in the midst of adversity, and we find the strength to show up anyway, imperfect and still healing.

It's in the midst of turmoil that we discover our inner strength and the support that's always been there.

If perfect circumstances were a requirement for success, we'd never take the first step.

It's when we choose to do the work, with courage and compassion, *despite* the less-than-ideals, that true transformation begins.

So, let's not shy away from the rainy days. We can cry in the rain if that's what we need. And when we're done crying, we can also choose to dance in it.
The choice is ours.

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." James 1:2-4.

With faith, hope, and prayer, we have everything we need. God will provide the rest. Just keep making the choice ✨️

Well, despite all the posts I had scheduled, this is the one that needed to be published today, and it's not like the others. Happy Thanksgiving Eve? 🤪🥴🫣

The irony of this reel is that it was filmed this morning (right after I had way too much blood taken), and the result was the rest of the day spent horizontal in an urgent care situation thanks to #potslife.

#chronicillnessproblems wait for no woman, and even less for the holiday season. A little sad I didn't get my Thanksgiving cheesecake made today....

Days like this ✨️

I used to dream of days like this - days before my life was changed forever with a diagnosis I wasn't expecting.

Having my life upended 2 years ago, from a TBI with a #POTS diagnosis, with 6 months in a wheelchair, days of chronic pain & exhaustion, HRs over 120 at rest... and the rest...all of it has grown and shaped me, AND it has continued to be hard.

One of the top three hard things God has asked me to carry in this lil life of mine (🕯)

But it was on this morning neighborhood walk that I could see - I was walking in an answered prayer I'd prayed 2 years ago... almost to the day. Yes, my prayer was answered AND life is still hard.

But if you don't stop to look around every once in a while, you might miss that you're living things you once prayed for. There are little miracles everywhere, and you, my friend, are one of them ✨️

Don't ever forget that.

But if you do, because you're human, and we all do, look around to see who God's put beside you for help.

And if you're reading this, and it's meant for you, I'm here to be one of those humans. Cus if you're ready to make different choices, I'm (now certified 🎉) and ready to help! Ready to drop old patterns and beliefs that don't fit now?

I couldn't be more excited for these two to get married this weekend ✨️

A storm might be rolling in, but if @magnetic_mabel & @i_mckee1144 can smile like this in 1 degree celcius (don't ask me what that is in Fahrenheit) in the middle of January, I'm pretty sure a little bit of rain and wind on their wedding day is not going to make an ounce of difference!

May God bless you both, Isaac & Mabel! We love you and can't wait for more Virginian adventures 💛

Confession: I tend to disappear from this space when life gets hard. 😏

Not because I’m ashamed, but because I don’t want my chronic illness to define me & I don’t really want to share the negative.

When I moved to Virginia from Australia (5 years ago today 😱😵) I had to start my business from scratch. New place, new people—no one knew who I was or what I did.

The biggest game-changer? Figuring out how to market myself in a way that actually connected me with the right people.
