Jie’s talk at Shih Chien University felt completely fresh from beginning to end — every section flowed naturally into the next. His massive amount of production experience and technical research was organized in an incredibly clear way.

Throughout the presentation, he cleverly wove in motion visuals from works across different years. As someone who’s basically a poet of visuals and technology, he really knows how to guide the audience through every second of what they’re seeing and hearing.

The way he arranged the visuals and text was meticulous, carrying the same rhythm and aesthetic that defines his work.

Even during the Q&A, he responded thoughtfully with realistic examples that matched each person’s level of understanding.

Whether it’s commercial projects or personal artistic work, everything reflects his obsession with detail.

劉承杰，現為影像導演、新媒體藝術家，並為 FPA 浮點設計創辦人。 @fpa.studio 為數位體驗設計品牌，融合設計、藝術與科技，打造具沉浸感的視覺體驗。以 3D 視覺設計與動態影像製作為基底，延伸至創意指導、聲音藝術、數位裝置等跨領域合作。並與 YSL、Porsche、BMW、ASUS、MSI、巨大集團等品牌合作，及第35屆金曲獎動態視覺統籌、大阪世界博覽會台灣館動態設計等具指標性的作品。本次將說明平常動畫工作流程中如何運用 TD 、 coding，及專案來分享這次clab節目製作過程

Jie Liou is a visual director and new media artist, and the founder of FPA (Floating Point Art). FPA focuses on digital experience design, blending design, art, and technology to create immersive visual content. Their work is rooted in 3D visuals and motion design, and extends into creative direction, sound art, and digital installations through cross-disciplinary collaborations.

He has worked with brands like YSL, Porsche, BMW, ASUS, MSI, and Giant Group, and has led visual direction for major projects such as the 35th Golden Melody Awards and the Taiwan Pavilion at the Osaka World Expo.

In this session, he’ll walk through his typical animation workflow, sharing how he integrates @touchdesigner and coding into his process, and use a CLAB project as a case study to break down the production behind a real-world project. taken in 實踐大學USC by @cinder_io

Reshaping my glsl work in POP

As more POP resources / info come, I’m start bringing them into my teaching next semester. starting by rebuilding some of my older GLSL pieces, and I’m looking forward to talking about more techniques at the POP meetup in Taipei next week
