I always leave NYC feeling incredibly inspired✨🗽

I’m so excited to begin my next chapter of continuing my education as I work toward earning my Ailey Horton Teacher Certification this year. While I was in New York, I had the honor of training with Tracy and Lakey at the Ailey School. This next year, I’ll continue that journey through a 32-week certification course, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

I also had the chance to see The Lost Boys on Broadway and it was an incredible show! 🎭 And, of course, it was so wonderful catching up with friends along the way.

Until next time, NYC... hopefully sooner rather than later. ⭐️🌇 by @cindydanz

Dance Progression Across the Floor ✨

Have fun trying this across-the-floor progression from my Leaps & Turns class! It’s a great combination to build technique and coordination.

A special thank you to my dancers, Heaven and Liza, for demonstrating the progression. 💙

What an amazing week at the @iabf_adultballetfestival 🤍🌞

I loved teaching and dancing. I also had the opportunity to choreograph a new piece for the showcase called “Becoming.”

Teaching, creating, and dancing alongside such passionate artists was truly such a highlight. So many beautiful memories were made. And the beach views? Absolutely unforgettable.

Bravo to everyone who participated, you inspired me. 💕

Thank you Julie for inviting me @brocheballet

Freestyling and prepping for IABF next week! 🦋

I can’t wait to dance with artists from around the world and bring “Becoming” to life.

😊 Choreographer Tip: Before you start choreographing, spend time freestyling to the music you’ve chosen. Record yourself, then watch it back. I love what authentic movements come out of it, transitions, and moments you never would have planned. And honestly the emotional release you feel.

🩰🤍 see you soon @iabf_adultballetfestival
