BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month is an opportunity to educate our little ones by creating space early on for them to understand their feelings and care for their inner worlds.

Raizado alum @cindymontenegro brings that care to young readers through her children’s book that helps kids name their emotions, build confidence, and see themselves reflected with intention. Stories like this can help children feel understood, less alone, and more equipped to navigate what they’re experiencing.

so honored to have been invited as a guest speaker for local 5th and 6th graders in the ROX program 💖 what an amazing group! i presented on my career and listened in as they shared their dreams and put together their very own coping toolkit. thankful to have spent the afternoon with such lovely, inquisitive students.
