Biohacking, tracking, optimizing… and then you drop your journal mid cold plunge, knock over your prayer candle, and curse Mercury retrograde to the sky. 😅

Stress is one of the biggest drivers of poor health, so if your wellness routine is stressing you out more than lighting you up, the healthiest thing you can do today might be to have fun.

Sometimes the real magic lives in the hard moments when we sigh deeply and think to ourselves, “not again.”

Over the years, I’ve found that when we sit with the stories that hold us back, the ones that cage us in, the discomfort, the “what will people think”, and we honour them without fueling them, something softens.

When we are able to guide our Inner Critic / Warrior gently toward the bigger picture and the bigger desires, life begins to feel more alive, more peaceful, more full of purpose.

So dream big and write down your desires.
Then, surrender to the process and let the universe light the next step.
And when the moment calls, move with big, bold courage.

That is the ebb and flow of it all.
That is where the most magical moments arise.
The best is always yet to come.

💛A small pause on new clients. 💛

Hi friends

I wanted to reach out with a quick work-life update. Starting now (and likely through January),
I unfortunately won’t be taking on new clients.

Right now I’m caring for my dearest mom which may mean some rescheduling and a few reduced clinic hours over the next little while and my priority is making sure everyone already in my care gets the follow-ups and continuity of care you deserve as well as the undivided attention I’ve always promised you.

If we’ve already built our safe space together, please know that space is still here. We’ll pick right back up on your treatment plan as soon as I return to work and open up my schedule again.

I became a practitioner and an entrepreneur so I could build a family-first life. I’ve rarely had to lean on that core value the way I need to right now, but this is a season for practicing what I teach.

Please don’t ever feel like a bother for reaching out or booking a session. I do still need to work because bills don’t hit pause just because we do. Paid sick days aren’t a thing for sole-proprietors. 😆🙃

And also, more importantly because I am so blessed to love my work, it fills my cup in more ways than I can describe. Hearing from you is never an inconvenience, it’s genuinely my honour to be a part of your health and wellness team, now more than ever.

Thank you for your love and patience while I hold space for my family for the next little while.

And in true Cindy fashion, while she naps, I’m brainstorming and channeling the most incredible things that I can’t wait to share with you soon!

With gratitude,
Cindy

Stop Should-ing all over yourself and try using these hindsight moments as an opportunity to learn what your intuition voice / inner wisdom sounds like.

You’ll ask ChatGPT, I’ll ask my Spirit Guides.

Sometimes the biggest act of radical Self Love is to stop trying to optimize yourself all the time.

We give away our power and our sovereignty every day by comparing ourselves to others, by not trusting our intuition, by doubting our unique voice and life purpose.

We plug it all into a machine in hopes that it can package it into a perfect little pitch, a poetic little post or a perfectly polished image. And then we wonder why the world has lost its magic and whimsy.
🦄
“Let go of the performance, let go of the identity that says you must always be progressing, improving, upgrading. You are not software. You are Soul. You are Spirit. You are essence.
And essence does not need enhancements. It needs expression. Let yourself cry without explaining, let yourself laugh without apologizing, let yourself dream without diminishing, let yourself rest without guilt. These are not indulgences, they are your return.” ~ Wayne Dyer

If you’ve felt disconnected from your intuition, your joy, your community… Maybe it’s time to disconnect and hit the delete button for awhile.

What I would look like in the 80s
AI not included! 😂

This is the trend I’d prefer to see.
And you know who else would probably love that trend too?

1. Your inner child who’s been trying to get your attention all these years via your subconscious mind, your weird dreams, your yearning for imagination again and sometimes in your lack of mobility and body aches.

2. The planet and it’s resources. 🌎

This is me and my friends Martine and Julie.
My babysitter Ginette choreographed a whole dance for us, we learned all the moves and the lyrics, we created matching outfits and we practiced every day for a month or so. Because girls really do just wanna have fun.

I remember this. Its a core memory.
It’s where I built my confidence for stepping onto a stage in front of an audience. Something that I’ve done many, many times over the years that followed. But I’ve recently lost that confidence a little, so it’s time to practice again every day and most importantly to have fun again…
maybe with a little less hairspray & neon this time. 😂 by @cindyodonnell.ca

Story time coming, but in the meantime, raise your hand if you can relate:

The second someone says I can’t do something, TYSM for providing the motivation for me to now do said thing…
And probably do it twice…
And do it even better than what you had in mind!

There is no app for the ache in your heart and your gut that says leave.

No download or update for the calm that settles when you finally choose yourself.

Your body has been the original intelligence all along, reading rooms, sensing danger, knowing love before your mind caught up.

We ask machines for answers, for solutions, for clarity.
Meanwhile the oldest, wisest voice and truth we know has been waiting quietly inside us, as patient as the tide.

Somewhere along the way we learned to trust the voice outside of us more than the one within.

What if the most radical thing you did today was listen to yourself first?

It’s time to come home to that.

A total Elder Millennial moment that also shows the power of perspective!

I was front row for Taylor Swift, held my bladder for way longer than one should and it wasn’t the Eras tour… but it counts!
