This has been my view for the last 13.5 years. Julius, the sweetest orange boy, has always been happiest sitting on my left. He never liked sitting on my right side. I’m honored that he chose me, and let me think I chose him. He has loved me unconditionally. Never once hissed at me, until today, when the pain in his kidneys became too much to bear. Scritch your pets if you have them, or someone else’s if you’re not allergic. Pets are one of the best things in the world. And ending their pain is the kindest, and hardest, decisions we get to make for them. by @cinnachick

TFW your vet techs compare the photos they’ve taken of your cat and compare to find the most handsome one to send you. Julius caught a wicked cold, it became a respiratory infection, and he decided to stop eating. So he got lots of meds that will hopefully make him finally start feeling better. by @cinnachick

Aside from a couple strawberries, this is the first produce from our tiny backyard garden this summer. If we’re lucky the other critters will let us have more pattypan squashes. There’s lots and lots of buds on this one plant. by @cinnachick

Just in case you forgot, Mother Nature is still in charge. She’ll happily snap the healthiest tree on the block if she wants to. And 3” of rain today so far, with more on the way. The flowers will be so happy. by @cinnachick

Last week I got to celebrate being married to this man for 20 years. He’s amazing and fantastic and loves me so much. He’s caring, he’s loyal, he’s always encouraging me, he’s funny, and he’s made my life so much better. I can’t imagine you not being in my life @me3dia. I’m making good progress. 24 rows into this pattern and only 1 mistake that caused me to rip out a few rows to find an extra stitch. This is pressing nicely. by @cinnachick
