The end of the year is just around the corner, so why not join Miss Spoken at @colesbar for one last TOAST with @cinnachick!

Cinnamon Cooper has written for several now-defunct publications. She manages a team of archivists for an educational technology company, which makes her librarian-adjacent. And she loves libraries and librarians. She loves learning and knowledge, but not as much as loves her spouse and their 3 asshole cats.

We had the pleasure of spending the day with the lovely @danicacycolormebeautiful diving into color and learning some new @kevin.murphy blonding techniques. Frequent education, trying new things, and getting yourself out of your comfort zone is everything. Thank you so much for your knowledge Dani, we gained so much from this class!🙌

Socializing is hard in your late 30s. Or maybe it’s just hard when you’re tired and working all the time and parenting and juggling the mental and physical health issues of yourself and your entire household and managing a household in general and living far away from family and you live at a time when it can feel like the world is on fire?

Anyways, one of my goals this year was to try and simply be a bit more social. It’s not always easy. Most of my closest friends live in other states and/or are also generally riding the same strugglebus, but I still managed to see some folks, and even made some new friends (or at least met some online friends in person but failed to get selfies…yet—paging @samanthahinesphotography and @unsunday).

Shoutout to those who made time and effort to see me this year, whether it was for multiple hangouts or a quick stop at a concert or museum or a lunch before leaving town❤️You have no idea just how much simply spending a few hours to hang out means to me, especially nowadays.

These are some (but not all) of those whom I got to see this year. Goal for next year is to keep this up and to start actually inviting folks over for dinner or game nights, or maybe plan a little road trip or something!

P.S. I’ll be in NYC in January so excited to meet up with friends there!

P.S.S. Look me up if any of y’all are ever in Denver!✌🏼

P.S.S.S. Shoutout to @misscarriebell in the background of that last shot I wish i’d have gotten your attn sooner because I am also very happy to have met you on our ATL trip!
