Before you open the bag, it already has a story to tell.

We sat down with Akshay, a designer from the National Institute of Design (NID), to talk through the thinking behind every detail and the ideas that shaped our very first coffee bag. More than a designer, he’s a passionate home brewer. He understands the rituals, the curiosity and the joy that coffee brings. That made this project feel incredibly genuine.

Akshay, specialises in Toy and Game design and has also helped develop a puzzle which we have sent along with the coffee. We hope you all can crack the code.

Exploring the RIFT64 grinder from @cipherbrewing !

A powerful electric grinder perfect for starting your espresso journey or as a backup for small cafes. The grinder's espresso-focused burrs produce a good amount of fines, even at pourover settings.

My future plans with this grinder include swapping burrs with @ssp_grinding MP V3 and adding a slowfeeder from @aroespresso for more consistent grinds.
