Listen to the trees, they have much to tell you… 🌳🍂✨

I love spending time in nature especially in October. 🍁 The warm shades of gold, rust and red create a palette that has always fascinated me. Every year, I find myself admiring it all over again…🧡

For this little autumn escape, I wore this lovely patchwork stonewashed poncho in turquoise by @thaiharempants 🩵 - the perfect layer for these cooler days. ☺️🌀

Being close to nature reminds me to slow down, including in the way I choose and care for my clothes. To me, slow fashion means buying thoughtfully, choosing pieces that are made sustainably which I’ll love for years and giving them a long life. The most “chill” chillout set I’ve ever played. 🙃 I’d never played sitting down before, except while camping in nature with friends. 🤭 This time, @rootssociety.al set up the DJ space so I could sit on one of @artizzan.al unique carpets and I loved it. 🙂‍↔️🔊🎶❤️‍🔥

I really enjoyed sharing music, having lovely conversations with creative people and being surrounded by art from so many different artists at @sareistudios ! Thank you for having me! 🫶🏻

I got so many reactions to my stories last night about my Mabon Simmer Pot, so I thought I’d share it here again, this time with a little more detail. 🍎🍂🍊🌿✨

I make one every year during the Autumn Equinox and it always brings me back to that warm, nostalgic feeling of fall. 🍁 Each fruit, herb and spice carries its own symbolism and intention, while slowly simmering together and filling the entire house with the most comforting scent of autumn. It’s one of those scents that instantly makes everything feel warmer, calmer, and more like home. 🏡☺️🍂

Harvest traditions have long been a way of giving thanks for the gifts of the earth and honoring the cycles of nature. 🌎 For me, this is my own little way of continuing that connection - slowing down, appreciating what this year has brought me and giving thanks for everything I’ve gathered, experienced, learned and created along the way. 🧡

At the Equinox, day and night meet in balance. From here, the days slowly grow shorter and we begin our journey into the darker half of the year. 🌚 Just as nature begins to turn inward and the trees slowly let go of their leaves, I see this season as an invitation to do the same… to release what I no longer need, reflect, rest and make space for what comes next.

And so, little by little, I’m preparing my warm and cozy nest for the colder months ahead, filling my home with comforting scents, candlelight, warmth and intention. 🍂🕯️

A little reminder to embrace both the light and the darkness, the abundance and the release, because both are part of the cycle. 🌓🪄
