After a great edition in Tilburg, we’re taking Circular Textile Days across the border to Germany. Germany is a leading force in textile innovation, which makes Mönchengladbach the perfect place for our next chapter.

A new market, a wider reach and a new network: moving to Germany lets us connect the circular textile community beyond the Netherlands, with new partners, brands and innovators.

What a Circular Textile Days 2026 it was!

Two days full of inspiring talks, good conversations and new connections. Seeing so many familiar faces and meeting so many new ones in Tilburg was a real highlight for us. And so many smiles too, which is what we do it for!

In The Value We Create (14.30–15.00), Ellen moderates a conversation with @soliver, @mexxofficial ficial and Marjolein Mesman (Cube Retail) on the central question: How can fashion brands and retailers create lasting value through quality, longevity and circularity while remaining commercially relevant?

Together, they look at it from three angles: what actually drives people's purchasing decisions, whether there's a business case for longer-lasting products when growth has traditionally come from selling more, and where the real opportunities for creating value differently lie, whether that's better products, services, repair, resale, loyalty, emotional value or new business models.

AITEX is bringing four complementary European projects to Circular Textile Days 2026: LIFE POLITEX, INTEGRANO, REDOL and INTERWeuVEN, each tackling textile circularity from a different angle.

At CTD, AITEX wants to show that complex post-consumer textile waste can be sorted, separated and converted into high-quality secondary raw materials, how functionality, safety, sustainability and economic viability can be considered together from the earliest stages of material design, and open a conversation about a fundamentally different manufacturing model built on digital design and local, on-demand production. AITEX is also looking to connect with potential innovators for the upcoming INTERWeuVEN Exploratory Labs and cascade-funding opportunity.

Active in textile manufacturing, waste sorting and recycling, or advanced materials, or looking to pilot or invest in circular textile solutions? AITEX wants to meet you.

At CTD 2026, Stichting UPV Textiel hosts TexConnect, an interactive panel of value-chain experts exploring what's actually needed to increase reuse and high-quality textile-to-textile recycling.

Six editions, and @schijvenscorporatefashion has been part of Circular Textile Days from day one. ♻️
Since our very first edition, Schijvens has been a familiar face on the exhibition floor. This year, as we head into our sixth edition, they will be joining us once again.

Circularity is at the heart of what Schijvens does. From taking back worn workwear to recycling fibres and using them as raw material for new garments, they show how circularity can work in practice.

Over the years, they have brought not only their solutions to CTD, but also their knowledge and experience of putting circular textiles into practice.

We’re very happy to welcome Schijvens back for another edition and to have them as part of the CTD community once again.

Tilburg opens its doors during Circular Textile Days

Tilburg was once the textile city of the Netherlands. On 30 September and 1 October, it writes the next chapter, from industrial past to circular future, as host of Circular Textile Days 2026 at the Koepelhal in @spoorzonetilburg.

The (deputy) mayor of Tilburg opens the event, an official welcome for a sector that has its roots here. At the entrance of the Koepelhal, the Infoplein Tilburg has its own welcome point, with information on the city's circular ambitions: which projects are already running, which partnerships are taking shape, and what comes next after CTD. Tilburg is present throughout the event, from the main stage to the interaction stage and catering.

During the Digital Innovation Hub on 1 October, TOS13 launches the digital fieldlab for the Dutch textile ecosystem, enabled by CLICKNL and developed from TextielCampus Tilburg. Through Encode, Distill and Elevate, TOS13 shows how AI, data and circular production reinforce each other, presented by Professor Troy Nachtigall.

And at the CTD Café, education, business, government and international partners, including the @gemeentetilburg, De Maere Foundation, @modint_nl and Mönchengladbach, discuss how to move from ambition to reality, moderated by Jack Stephenson Buschman.

During CTD, Tilburg isn't just the host, but a city that shows what's already there, and what's still to come.

@messe_frankfurt_nederland is once again visiting Circular Textile Days, bringing around 20 journalists from leading textile trade publications to Tilburg. They’re coming to see the latest developments in circular textiles up close, discover what is already possible today, and meet the companies and innovators putting circularity into practice.

Having this group of international trade journalists at CTD is something we’re proud of. It not only puts new developments and solutions in front of the people reporting on our industry, but also underlines the importance of sharing what is happening across the circular textile value chain.

Earlier visits have already led to something concrete: the Dutch pavilion “NL Circular Textile Solutions - Ready for Europe” at @Techtextil_texproces and @Heimtextil, with Circular Textile Days as one of the partners.
