We're not letting Trump's decision to host the G-20 Summit at his own Doral resort go.

As a refresher, he tried to do essentially the same thing back in 2019, when he attempted to host the G-7 Summit at this same resort, claiming that members of the Secret Service wanted it to be hosted there. We received records contradicting these claims and after intense public outrage and bipartisan backlash, Trump reversed his stance.

But that hasn't stopped him from trying to do it again, and this time with an even larger international summit.

It wasn't okay then, and it's not okay now.

Trump's attempts to profit of the presidency are clear as day, and this is just another craven attempt to do so. Don't look away. by @citizensforethics

Being the president's son-in-law does not exempt you from following the law.

That's why we just sued Jared Kushner.

He can't have this powerful role while ignoring transparency rules. by @citizensforethics

CREW just sued to block Jared Kushner from acting as President Trump’s Special Envoy for Peace and compel him to file his required financial disclosures.

Since early in the second Trump administration, Kushner—Trump’s son-in-law—has been exercising enormous diplomatic power on behalf of the United States without Senate confirmation and without filing a single financial disclosure.

"Jared Kushner is required to follow the Constitution and federal law, and if he has nothing to hide, he should welcome the opportunity to go through the Senate confirmation process and show the public everything is above board,” said CREW President Donald Sherman. “Instead, he has decided to act as though he is above the law and ignore it. The court cannot allow this to continue and must intervene.”

We've asked the court to issue an order that would prohibit the president and his staff from posting to Truth Social so long as Trump's company is selling faster access to his posts.

Stay tuned. by @citizensforethics

On Friday, we got a huge win in our lawsuit against the DOJ, challenging the Trump admin's illegal voter roll consolidation efforts.

The Constitution and federal law are clear: states are responsible for maintaining their voter rolls, not the federal government. by @citizensforethics

By raking in $2.2 billion last year, President Trump made the equivalent of a presidential salary about every two hours.

And he made the median American's annual income about every 10 minutes. by @citizensforethics

Jared Kushner should NOT be allowed to have such a powerful foreign policy role given that he has not done anything to address ethics concerns related to his billions in foreign government investments.

President Trump is illegally trying to cancel almost $1 billion in federal funding for things like immigration services, foreign aid, education programs and health research without Congress’s consent.

This is NOT how things work in a democracy. by @citizensforethics

By bringing in $2.2 billion, Trump made 31,000 times more than the average American's income last year.

No, it's not normal for the president to be profiting like that in office. Thanks for asking! by @citizensforethics
