Creating a new center of gravity in the climate movement by uniting frontline communities and organizations into a formidable force. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
💚 During Climate Week NYC 2026 and Hispanic Heritage Month, our Town Hall Series came to New York, where community members, leaders, and experts came together to talk about air quality, respiratory health, flooding, resilience, and how climate solutions are also being shaped by neighborhoods, lived experience, and the people facing these challenges every day.

This reel captures a few moments from the gathering, but the full conversation went much deeper: questions, personal experiences, and perspectives on how our communities can prepare, care for one another, and have a real voice in the decisions shaping their future.

▶️ The full Town Hall is now available on our YouTube channel. Link in bio.

Catch up on the conversation and get a closer look at the climate issues shaping life in New York, from health and air quality to community resilience.

Thank you to Univision 41 and Hispanic Federation for being part of this conversation and helping bring it closer to the community.

Big Tech’s expansion doesn’t happen alone. The fossil fuel industry is helping power the infrastructure, policies, and political agenda behind it.

For Episode 5 of #BroBotsVsThe People, we’re bringing together Dorothy Slater of @revolvingdoorproject, Feleecia Guillen of @nofalsesolutions, and Mar Zepeda of @cjaourpower to unpack these connections and what organizers are doing to fight back.

⏰ Thurs, Oct. 22 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET

“For us, the seed is not just food –– it is a product that connects us to our identity and our traditions.”

On Rural Women’s Day we spotlight the words of Mariama from Nous Sommes la Solution (We are the Solution), a powerful movement of 14 rural women’s organizations in 8 countries across West Africa that is leading the way in agroecology and food sovereignty.

Mariama speaks to how, through seed exchange, experimental farms, and more, rural women are playing a vital role in moving toward “the sovereignty that Africa seeks.”

Today, and every day, we salute the rural women and all of the food providers across the food system who are nourishing their communities and feeding the world. by @cjaourpower

☎️ Tell your Senators to say NO to the “Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act” (BAAJA). 👎❌

The bill is scheduled for a vote in the Senate on November 9, 2026. If passed into law, it would weaken environmental protections and our rights. 🚫

📞 Call your Senators today! Tell them to vote NO

People power is worker power — for too long, labor has been pitted by politicians and corporations against the very people protecting the long-term future of our communities and neighborhoods, like those working to ensure we have clean air, safe water, and healthy neighborhoods, as if we are not all united in a commitment to better futures. – Joshua Dedmond, executive director of the Labor Network for Sustainability @labor4sustainability

The Bipartisan Affordability and Jobs Act is not about affordability or jobs — it’s about sacrificing our time and energy, our health, our families’ health, and our current and future generations’ ability to live in a stable economy and healthy environment — just to line the pockets of the super-rich and fast-track dangerous, polluting projects we don’t want.

When we support a few temporary “jobs” at that high a cost, we are repeating historical mistakes that give away our own power as workers.

Workers literally construct and build the future – we must wield that power responsibly. If developers are not building in good faith now in relationship with our neighbors, what makes us think they’ll come to the bargaining table in good faith? We don’t have to play these games to feed our families.

We do need dignified work opportunities. We need clean, dependable, and safe jobs that our communities have equal opportunity and access to — the jobs that support a Just Transition out of this extractive, dirty energy- and polluting industry- dependent economy.

Labor has the opportunity to lean into its power. Let us not be used as puppets to perpetuate harm. Even if under the guise of “permitting reform,” this is a dirty deal for us all. by @cjaourpower

Oppose the “Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act” (BAAJA). 👎❌

Lawmakers say they need to cut through the “red tape” so Big Business can build projects of any kind faster, like data centers 🤖. But what they really want is to strip away protections that keep our drinking water clean, our families safe, and our utility bills affordable.

We are not red tape. ❌
Our health, our livelihoods, and our neighborhoods come before corporate profits. This is a dirty deal. 🌻

Episode 2 of Ask A Human is out now! Welcome to Ask A Human, our show where we ask incredible human beings common questions people are asking AI. The human-generated answers and the connections we make when we exchange ideas and concepts with each other is something that AI will never be able to replicate, AND it comes without the negative ecological, economic, and health impacts that AI infrastructure and data centers impose on our communities!

In our second episode we talk with the wonderful Donnay Edmunds who works at New Economy Coalition, a coalition of 170+ organizations building the solidarity economy in the U.S. and showing that another world is not only possible — it’s already happening.

Every month we’ll ask kind, smart, and thoughtful humans a different question. New episodes drop every Sunday at 12pm PST. What questions do you want us to ask next? Let us know in the comments below ⬇️

And remember – Save Water, Ask A Human 💧

This episode was filmed in Durham, North Carolina on unceded Lumbee territory.
