To my first love…

Thank you for helping me become the woman I was destined to be. Thank you to all my teammates, coaches, and supporters who have been part of this journey. Thank you to my mom for introducing me to this sport, all I ever wanted was to be a college softball player just like you. Thank you, Dad, for always believing in me, even on the days I struggled to believe in myself. And thank you to my grandpa for every text reminding me to “put on my hitting shoes.”
In life, all good things must come to an end, but I wouldn’t trade the past 16 years for anything. This game has given me memories, lessons, friendships, and a version of myself I’m proud of. Softball will always be a part of who I am.

Forever grateful. by @cl_moore123

At just 17, I made the decision to come to West Virginia without knowing a single soul or even what the campus looked like. What I found here was more than a university; I found a place that would challenge me, shape me, and ultimately crown me into the woman I’ve become today.
West Virginia State University didn’t just educate me, it elevated me.
I leave with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, but my journey is defined by so much more:
• President’s List honoree (2x)
• Dean’s List honoree (4x)
• Graduating Magna Cum Laude
• Student Ambassador (2x)
• Student-Athlete
• Miss Alpha Phi Alpha
• Miss West Virginia State University
Thank you, WVSU, for everything. by @cl_moore123

Heavy is the head that wears the crown… but the love and support around me makes it feel lighter.

This university has built me up, challenged me, and helped me grow into the woman I am becoming.
