From California to West Virginia… what a journey. 🤍🥎
Four years ago I left home chasing a dream, and today I leave with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement, lifelong memories, and people who became family.

Softball gave me more than a sport — it gave me lessons, strength, discipline, and sisters I’ll forever be thankful for. West Virginia became a second home filled with long practices, road trips, wins, losses, tears, laughs, and unforgettable moments. Every part of it helped shape me into who I am today.

Thank you to my coaches, teammates, friends, and especially my family back in California for always believing in me and supporting me through every step of this journey. None of this would’ve been possible without you.

As this chapter comes to an end, it’s hard to say goodbye to the place and people who changed my life forever. West Virginia, thank you for the memories, the love, and the opportunity to live out my dream.

California girl forever… but West Virginia will always have a piece of my heart. 💛🖤 #Graduate #StudentAthlete #Softball #CriminalJustice #ThankYouWV

What a wonderful blessing it has been to have been able to play the game of softball. A little yellow softball taught me how to handle failure with grace, celebrate success with humility, and keep showing up even when things got hard. It brought me some of the strongest friendships and most precious memories. No matter where life takes me, a piece of my heart will always belong to the game that taught me so much. Although this chapter is closing, I am excited to see what God has in store for the future. To God be the glory always! #TYJ 🤟🏼

Softball,

Thank you for the best 16 years of my life. The people it has brought me, the memories it has given me, and the lessons it has taught me are things I will be eternally grateful for.

To my teammates and some of my best friends, I love you with my whole heart. I would not have been able to do this without you. Thank you for always being by my side, through the good and the bad, and always giving me something to look forward to.

To all of my coaches, thank you for making me a better person. The impact you have made on me will last a lifetime and words can not express the appreciation that I have for your time, effort, commitment, and love that you have for each of your players and the game.

Finally, to my parents, you have been my biggest supporters since day one. The car rides, flights, hotel stays, early mornings, late nights, and trips to Dick’s (because I always forgot something) are things that never went unnoticed. I am beyond grateful for the life you have given me and thank you for always believing in me.
