Hard work, commitment, and strong leadership.

Today, we recognize their 3- and 5-year milestones. They have consistently proven to be outstanding members of the crew and have helped make this program what it is today.

These buckles represent more than just time. They represent the long summers away from home and the commitment it takes to be part of a high-reliability organization.

5 years — Matt Hernandez, Chris Santos, Kai Brinster

3 years — Zach Puppo, Rocco Loftis, Jake Caulfield, Adam Elle, Sal Martinez

Well earned and well deserved. by @clackamascrew30

The Crew put a wrap on the hagen fire, they showed up to complete some high priority burning and left the incident set up for containment success. It's been tough to get a good crew pic this year since we've had folks filling single resource roles on every incident. So here's the crew sans Asst Sup and a Senior. by @clackamascrew30

@clackamascrew30 has been putting in hard work on the Grasshopper Fire, helping protect communities right here in Clackamas County and our neighboring counties.

From the wilderness to the edge of homes, the crew is digging fire line, working alongside aviation resources, protecting structures and partnering closely with the Texas Canyon Hotshots to save homes. The Crew even used a homeowner’s tractor to quickly plow a fire line directly in front of the advancing fire.

Crew 30 deploys across the country and Canada to help communities facing wildfires. Right now, they’re close to home, putting their experience to work protecting communities close to home. taken in Mt. Hood National Forest by @clackamascrew30

Extreme fire weather, old growth poison oak, and grueling shifts. The Crew put in a solid 10 days on East Evans Creek before heading out for 5 more crucial shifts on Akawa Butte to get through the red flag days. This season isn't letting up, the crews taking some much needed R&R days! by @clackamascrew30

The crew went up to Ak for a pre-position where we helped wrap up a fire near Delta Junction. Then, headed south to Kenai to work a couple fires around Soldotna. We wrapped up the roll with some Hecm-T training while the crew cleared out some land for the future Air Tanker Base.

Alaska is always a unique experience, and we were glad to come up and provide support however we could. by @clackamascrew30

The Crew's Type 6 has already started the season with Rx Support over in Central Oregon. It is looking like it will be a quick start to the season.
Just over two more weeks until the Crew will be tackling Critical 80!
