calling all ceramic artists! will you donate a mug ☕️ for a good cause? I'm hosting a "Love Your Mug" show & sale at a local coffee shop to benefit @inclusiveclay, a PA-based nonprofit close to my heart that makes pottery classes accessible to adults with disabilities. comment or DM me to coordinate drop off, pick up, or shipping of your mug by February 1st. these fundraisers are the bread and butter for small-scale nonprofits and your support means the world 🤍 tell your friends!

here's one of my donations—maybe you recognize it from my last reel? stay tuned for the time & place announcement next week for all of you shoppers 👀 by @clarefarrowceramics

scenes from this past weekend’s woodfire loading of the kiln 🪵 lots of picking, passing, and placing of pots. this incredible crew battled the cold to get it done and today we get to reap the rewards at the unloading. crossing my fingers for good results and good weather🤞🏻 taken in The Studios at Historic Yellow Springs by @clarefarrowceramics

so many moments and motions go into making a mug. finishing the details like this used to feel fussy to me, but now it’s such a peaceful and welcome part of the process. this set of mugs is making its way into a woodfire on saturday to be unloaded a week from today 🤞🏻 by @clarefarrowceramics

a very small summary of a very great year. can you guess how many students I taught in 2024? my estimate wasn’t even close… endless thanks to those that took a class with me, to all of my woodfire crews and kiln techs, to my colleagues and collaborators, to anyone who bought a piece of pottery or supported my work, and to the incredible ceramics community here in philly - the inspiration is endless. on to big plans for 2025! by @clarefarrowceramics

my mon-wed fall classes are full but @yayclay has just a few open class spots on sunday mornings (beginners wheel), thursday nights (intermediate wheel), and wednesday nights (sculptural forms) with INCREDIBLE teachers starting the week after next. check them out! by @clarefarrowceramics
