Clare and Sean’s wedding on the Cape happened in that magic in between time, where the summer’s heat is almost gone and hydrangeas have faded to their September pink before the cold sets in. Having both grown up on the Cape, these two found it made sense to return there for their wedding that featured florals arranged by Clare’s sister, hand-embroidered place settings by Clare’s grandmother, and officiating by the same high school theatre teacher that first introduced them as teenagers. Through the efforts of the greater community Clare and Sean have cultivated as adults, their wedding day felt like the inevitable result of over a decade of shared history and celebrating it in a place so comfortable, so familiar for them and their people was the perfect close to our summer season.

Is posthumous publishing ethical? 📚️ New books from late authors Stan and Jan Berenstain, Theodor Geisel, and Leo Lionni are returning beloved characters to bookshelves for a new generation.

For some, posthumous publishing is a way to preserve an author's legacy. Others say it's signaling hard times for the book world.

At the link in our bio, we sat down with industry experts and publishers to hear their perspectives on #posthumouspublishing.

Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" fails women in a familiar way.

As the title suggests, #TheOdyssey follows Odysseus and his long journey home. But Homer’s epic is also shaped by the many women who help him on his quest.

When it comes to the women in his adaptation, Nolan employs a slew of Hollywood’s brightest leading ladies, including Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron and Lupita Nyong’o. Yet like most other Nolan films, "The Odyssey" still fails the Bechdel test.

USA TODAY’s Clare Mulroy says she isn’t surprised. “Across 28 years and 13 films, Nolan has never cast a female protagonist,” she writes.
