🚨🎶 To everyone avoiding practice!

I’ve been wanting to give these pixel composers a new lease of life after spending years drawing them..

So I’m building an app to make practice a little more rewarding! Would you practise more if Beethoven’s life depended on it? 😤 by @classicalpixel

🤔 Sooo did you practise today, or are you still waiting for divine inspiration?

It took me a long time to realise that practising regularly actually makes it easier to stay motivated. More practice → more progress → more motivation to keep going!

Beethoven loves finger hugs 😆

I didn’t want the app to be just another practice tracker, so I’ve been working on giving him a personality! He’s supposed to feel like he’s actually there with you, not just sitting idle.

Now on the home screen you can:
👉 Swipe him left and right
🤗 Long tap for a hug
💬 Tap for a chat! by @classicalpixel

Sometimes I get carried away building features that are completely unnecessary 🙊

Like letting you swipe Beethoven around the home screen 😆 or tap and hold to have him hug your finger!

The point was for him to feel like a little character you can actually interact with, not a static figure.

How else would you like to interact with Beethoven? 👀 by @classicalpixel

I definitely had too much fun drawing Beethoven’s 5 health states from thriving to dead ☠️

Every day you practise = +1 ❤️
Every day you don’t = -1 💔
So 5 missed days = one very dead Beethoven.

My students are obsessed with crawling Beethoven 😂
