Life on a boat in Komodo National Park 🛶

When I was planning my trip to Komodo, I quickly realised that choosing the right boat was almost impossible. I spend hours comparing. There are countless tours available and for 3 days, that boat would be home.
I ended up booking @andaluciacharter through @travass.life because they offer shared cabins. The boat never felt crowded and had plenty of space to sit down and watch the islands drift by.

📍Kanto Lampo, Bali

Instagram: a quiet waterfall hidden in the jungle.

Reality: ice cold water, a massive queue and a lot of waiting for your turn.

Just as we reached the front, the guide who normally takes everyone’s photos had left. So I spent my time behind the camera, hyping up the girlies 🤍

Then suddenly it was my turn. A few quick photos, less than a minute under the waterfall and we were off back to Canggu.

Maybe thats the real Kanto Lampo experience: waiting longer than you pose, freezing a little more than expected and somehow still leave with a smile 🤣✨

Onok island: a tiny piece of paradise in Palawan 🩵✨

It’s one of the most beautiful stops on a 4-day Balabac Island tour where you get to stay overnight.

waking up surrounded by nothing
but endless blue water
baby sea turtles
and coconuts within reach 🥥🐢

Definitely not the easiest place to get to but that’s exactly what makes it special. I booked through @balabacgirl and it became one of the highlights of my six months abroad 💌

If you hike up at 4am, you will see the island turn gold, making the early alarm more than worth it ✨🌼

There’s the Kelingking beach you see online, and then there’s the one right in front of you ✨

First comes the crowd. Then the sound of the crashing ocean, something no screen could ever capture. Then come the cheeky monkeys, convinced that whatever is in your bag belongs to them. And finally, after puffing and huffing your way down those impossibly steep stairs, you find yourself at the bottom, fave to face with the massive waves and dramatic cliffs that made this place famous in the first place

Maybe thats the magic of Kilingking beach. Not the photo you’ve seen a hundred times, but the moment the photo finally becomes real 🌊🎞️

The streets of Koh Tao, where i fell in love with simple island life 💭

From cute coffee spots in the morning to slow afternoons by the beach. Ending the day driving around the island, just in time for sunset ☕️📸

Over the years, the island had become more popular, especially tor diving.
Still, it’s the kind of place you stay a little longer than planned.

The blues of Balabac 💙🩵

Honestly I still don’t understand why Balabac isn’t talked about more. It’s one of those places you have on your bucket list for years and then somehow still exceeds every expectation. You can spend 4 days hopping between islands on one of the expeditions. But be prepared to go back to basics: simple home-cooked food, beachy hair for days and some of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll ever see.

I booked with @balabacgirl who took care of everything, even releasing baby sea turtles into the ocean 🥹

A little corner of paradise that still feels undiscovered ✨
