During my healing journey, one thing that truly helped me rebuild myself after emotional abuse was trying new things again.

When you’ve been in survival mode for so long, you forget who you are outside of the pain. And for me, healing looked like reconnecting with myself through creativity, solo dates, movement, and experiences that made me feel alive again.

So while being in Siargao, I decided to continue that journey through a little series:

✨ The Soft Life Series ✨

Because this island really forces you to slow down and reminds you that life isn’t meant to be lived in constant survival mode.

And although Siargao is known for surfing and partying, I’ve been loving the softer side of it: paint & brunch dates, wellness experiences, creativity, meeting new people, and learning how to enjoy my own company again 💛
