I’m loving making these plates in honor of each of my daughter’s precious plant babies. As she removes a dying leaf, I take it and press it into a plate. This is the third one I’m making. Unfortunately…Or fortunately (?) the kitties found it and decided to leave their impression on it as well!

This bowl has been sitting on my shelf covered in plastic for over a month! I just have not had any inspiration on what to do with it. Then I made this leaf design on another piece yesterday and decided to go with it on this bowl… and I’m so pleased! I’m trying to figure out how to glaze - either clear or a tinted clear / semi transparent glaze. Any suggestions? by @clayartists_org

I recently won one of the monthly challenges by @theceramicshop which I was so excited about because I’ve never won anything like that! I bought a bunch of glazes which I was so excited to use. I kept them by my front door so I could do an unboxing video and then as we were doing some moving, my son - trying to be helpful - saw all of the shredded cardboard in the top of the box & thought it was recycling and dumped it in the bin which got promptly emptied by the City! 😩 so once I recovered from that I bought some more… No one ever said this sport was cheap!

So excited to try these out! Many of them are new to me, and some of them are restocked of my tried and trues :)

Wow. This took me forever! This is the 5 th casserole I’ve made, the 3rd on my own in mt basement without someone helping. I still have sooooo much to learn! But that’s part of what I love about this craft ❤️

I’m using @tuckers.pottery smooth red clay first the first time - it holds true to its name. Suuuuper smooth!

Haven’t trimmed it yet. In the middle of house construction but hopefully soon!

Still learning! Things that take other people 3 minutes take me that x 10! 😅

But it’s all good. Learning to enjoy the process.
