🌴 Paradise found at Le Méridien Mai Khao @lemeridienmaikhao - in the longest, most serene and stunning beach in Phuket. And it's just 15 mins from the Phuket airport ✈️ We had a chic room with a cabana-style balcony overlooking the pool and our routine was - brush, breakfast and jump into the pool! 🏊‍♂️ 🧑‍🍳 🔪 One of our most special memories was the cooking class where we learned to cook (and devour) some delicious Southern Thai dishes from their adorable chef — such a fun honeymoon activity! Especially since we both love Thai food and love cooking. Our days were spent between multiple pools, especially the stunning sea-facing infinity pool that made sunset swims feel surreal 🌞👙 And just when it couldn’t get better, we got back to our room to see that the resort surprised us with a beautiful afternoon tea 🍰🧁 Evenings were happy hour in the beach facing restaurant aptly named Ocean Kitchen which served incredible international dishes and cocktails 🍹🍸 The staff was warm and kind and made our honeymoon more special. With crystal clear blue water, snorkeling over a coral reef and a beach straight out of a postcard @marriottphuketmerlinbeach didn’t just host our honeymoon - they curated a luxury fairy tale infused with romance. When we weren't on the beach, we enjoyed our time in their wonderful pools. And don't even get me started on the food: Japanese, Thai, and international dishes so good that we “forgot” our plan to eat light. We ended up on a permanent food tour where the only exercise was choosing which plate to destroy next. A wonderful resort in Phuket for a romantic escape or a great time with your family.Deutsch 🇩🇪 -Mit kristallklarem, blauem Wasser, Schnorcheln über einem Korallenriff und einem Strand wie aus dem Bilderbuch war das @marriottphuketmerlinbeach nicht nur der perfekte Ort für unsere Flitterwochen – es hat uns ein luxuriöses Märchen voller Romantik beschert. Wenn wir nicht gerade am Strand waren, genossen wir die Zeit in den herrlichen Pools. Und erst das Essen! Japanische, thailändische und internationale Gerichte waren so köstlich, dass wir unseren Plan, nur leicht zu essen, völlig vergaßen. Wir befanden uns auf einer permanenten kulinarischen Entdeckungsreise, bei der die einzige Herausforderung darin bestand, den nächsten Teller zu verputzen.
