Our stay at @samaraya.samui felt beautifully different from our usual island escapes. With just 20 private beachfront villas and a deep approach to hydrotherapy and daily wellness rituals, it offered something quieter, rarer and far more personal.

🌴 Located on a quiet stretch of Lipa Noi beach, @samaraya.samui is far from the usual crowds in a peaceful and untouched side of Koh Samui.

🌊 The location is calm, private, and deeply connected to nature, which made our stay instantly more restorative.

💦 Samaraya’s water-healing wellness concept is based around their heated hydrotherapy pool, offering Watsu, Water Dance, Aqua Yoga, therapeutic movement, resistance training, and mindful asanas in warm 35°C water.

🥰 I loved the resort’s personalized approach where they send you a daily wellness schedule to choose what suits you. Your stay includes three daily complimentary movement classes such as Yoga, Pilates Reformer, Mobility, Aerial Yoga, Deep Release, Tai Chi, and water-based sessions - conducted by experienced instructors.

🏡 Moreover, each villa feels like a small sanctuary, with a private pool, refined design, and the hush of nature all around.

We enjoyed getting massages as their spa which blends traditional healing practices with modern somatic understanding 🧖‍♀️

💪 While I cooled off in our private pool, my husband enjoyed his workout at their state-of-the-art gym equipped with everything a fitness enthusiast needs.

🥗 Dining at Raya was another highlight - their boutique wellness beachfront restaurant that serves clean eating with soulful intention, in a setting that feels beautifully at ease.

🧜🏻‍♀️ They also offer wellness packages designed for immersive transformation and tailored to each guest’s personal path, so our stay felt like a journey shaped around our needs.

Not only do you get an incredible variety of exotic oysters from all around the world, you also learn more about their flavor profiles and how to enjoy them 🦪

We also had the pleasure of trying unique seafood from the US, Spain, Norway and Ireland along with local catch 😍🤩

From the selection to the taste to the presentation to the quality, the Oysters here are absolutely worth it!

And the chef has a variety of delicious dressings to enhance your oysters

We also tried the Langoustine aka Norway Lobster Carpaccio which a delicate, gourmet appetizer made by pounding raw, sushi-grade langoustines into paper-thin slices.

🦐 Camarón Rojo - Raw deep-sea red shrimp from Spain with a rich flavor and melt in your mouth texture. If you like sashimi, try it!

Baked Lobster tail with garlic butter for those who want something more conventional (and cooked 😜)

The grilled shrimp and sea snails were super!

And my husband loved the mussels!

Our pool villa is exactly what our dream home would look like - modern design blended with tropical elements with private plunge pool surrounded by lush greenery.

Every moment here was just perfect for our honeymoon.

With days and nights in our private pool, it was the perfect romantic getaway 💕 Every detail at Renaissance Phuket is designed for uninterrupted relaxation.

We were looking for the luxury pool villa escape in Phuket and our search ended here 🫶

🌴 Paradise found at Le Méridien Mai Khao @lemeridienmaikhao - in the longest, most serene and stunning beach in Phuket. And it's just 15 mins from the Phuket airport ✈️

We had a chic room with a cabana-style balcony overlooking the pool and our routine was - brush, breakfast and jump into the pool! 🏊‍♂️

🧑‍🍳 🔪 One of our most special memories was the cooking class where we learned to cook (and devour) some delicious Southern Thai dishes from their adorable chef — such a fun honeymoon activity! Especially since we both love Thai food and love cooking.

Our days were spent between multiple pools, especially the stunning sea-facing infinity pool that made sunset swims feel surreal 🌞👙

And just when it couldn’t get better, we got back to our room to see that the resort surprised us with a beautiful afternoon tea 🍰🧁

Evenings were happy hour in the beach facing restaurant aptly named Ocean Kitchen which served incredible international dishes and cocktails 🍹🍸

The staff was warm and kind and made our honeymoon more special. This resort is Pure Paradise - a place we’ll always associate the most amazing memories ♥️

Just two serial chillers on honeymoon duty.
Especially when your room opens straight into the pool, breakfast floats to you, and the pool bar knows your order by heart.

@avistagrandephuket makes slowing down feel like a luxury sport. Perfect for honeymooners, couples, and family getaways that are relaxed and indulgent.

EAT 🍤 SIP🍹SWIM 🌊REPEAT was our official honeymoon job description at @khaolakmarriott – and we were very dedicated to the role.

🍜EAT – From the amazing breakfast at @gojikitchenandbarkhaolak to delicious Thai curries at @thaicurrysala to Mediterranean flavors at @lidobeachrestaurantandlounge to oysters and steaks at @panasiagrillandbar every meal at the resort was a 10/10

☀️SIP – Sparkling wine for breakfast at @gojikitchenandbarkhaolak, afternoon cocktails in the pool bar, evening drinks at the lobby bar, sunset wines on the rooftop at @panasiagrillandbar by the super talented @stone_kittipit … okay, basically anytime. Their HAPPY HOURS are too good to resist!

🏊SWIM – Our pool access room, adult-only pool, ocean waves… we tried to swim in everything that held water

🔁 Repeat – Because honestly, why would we do anything else?

If “living our best lives” had a headquarter, it’d be right here on this beachfront paradise.

Thank you, Khao Lak Marriott, for turning our honeymoon into an endless loop of sip, eat, swim, repeat. We’re already planning our “do-over” vacation. 😌✨

We kickstarted our honeymoon at @lemeridienkhaolak with the perfect blend of elegance and indulgence — from our pool-access room with dreamy beach views that felt like a private escape. While my hubby burnt calories at the state-of-the-art gym, I indulged at the multicuisine restaurants, where every meal felt like a global culinary journey.

The resort is packed with activities for all ages, so whether you’re birdwatching, doing yoga, learning towel art, or exploring the coastline, there’s something magical for everyone. Moreover, they also organize day trips to visit the many natural attractions in Khao Lak.

All in all, we had a delightful stay at Le Méridien Khao Lak which left nothing to be desired and was the perfect way to begin our long awaited honeymoon.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeitsreise bei @lemeridienkhaolak mit der perfekten Mischung aus Eleganz und Genuss gestartet – von unserem Zimmer mit Poolzugang und traumhaftem Meerblick, das sich wie ein privates Rückzugsort anfühlte. Während mein Mann im erstklassigen Fitnessstudio Kalorien verbrannte, genoss ich die Restaurants mit internationaler Küche, wo jede Mahlzeit sich wie eine kulinarische Weltreise anfühlte.
Das Resort bietet eine Fülle an Aktivitäten für jedes Alter: Ob Vogelbeobachtung, Yoga, Towel-Art-Kurse oder Erkundungen der Küstenlinie – für jeden ist etwas Magisches dabei. Zudem organisieren sie Tagesausflüge zu den zahlreichen natürlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Khao Lak.
Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt bei Le Méridien Khao Lak wunderbar und ließ keinerlei Wünsche offen. Es war der perfekte Start in unsere lang erwartete Hochzeitsreise.
