Before a route becomes an adventure, it starts as a question.

Last year, Rohan, the boys and I spent a few days in the mountains oh Ladakh chasing possible new routes. Some ended in dead ends, others turned into roads we’d never forget. That’s the part nobody usually sees - the days on recces exploring, backtracking and wondering what’s waiting around the next bend. taken in Ladakh, India by @cliftonshipway

The streets of Lo Manthang move at their own pace.

It’s impossible to ride through Tibet without noticing the prayer flags…

They appear on bridges, mountain passes, and high ridges. They colour an otherwise stark landscape and reminding you that these mountains mean far more than scenery to the people who call them home. Also they make a pretty damn cool frame for a photograph!
