On this #WorldFoodDay, we are reminded that transforming our food systems requires doing business *unusual.* True innovation isn't just about new technology, it's about innovating policy, finance, and local action to build a resilient future.

In today’s fragmented development landscape, no single organization can do this alone. Partnerships are more crucial than ever.

An example of collective leadership in action, the High-Level Panel (HLP) for a Just Rural Transition, has shown just how paramount collaboration is to address issues in our food systems. By bringing together global leaders, policymakers, and decision-makers, we are working to align political, financial, and agricultural timelines to reform public support and repurpose subsidies where they matter most.

🗣️ In reality, however, “politics” remains a tough hurdle along our shared journey. 🏛️❌ What we can do together is ensure that policymakers and communities truly “own” these innovative ideas hand-in-hand, turning grassroots voices into a powerful force for lasting change! 🤝✨

Last week, we wrapped up our final session at Bangkok Climate Action Week: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚! 🔥

In partnership with Thailand Environment Institute Foundation, Clean Air Fund, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Asian Farmers' Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) and Climate & Clean Air Coalition to discuss why crop residue burning persists across Asia and how we can fix it.

The reality? Farmers burn residue because alternatives often cost too much and take too long. To stop the burn, we need solutions that match burning on speed, cost, and scale without burdening smallholders.

Dhanush share a quick dish of key takeaways from yesterday's Politics of Rice session, hosted during Rice Day at #BCAW2026!

Clim-Eat partnered with the Asian Farmers' Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) to dive into the complex politics surrounding rice production in Asia.

The main course from our discussion? Tackling this challenge has many layers. While most agreed on the urgent need to repurpose public support and address political economy dynamics, moving from agreement to action requires key ingredients:
