I love bold, colorful & creative art; especially when it features imaginative & quirky creatures. Hannah Bunzey’s art checks all of those boxes & it’s intrigued me for years. I’m so happy that I finally reached out to her and asked her to create tonight’s poster. I’m also really grateful that @ladylazarustx was able to adapt Hannah’s gorgeous marker drawing into a beautiful screen print.

I’ve been a fan of Your Cinema’s quirky and fun style since I saw his first Phish poster a decade ago. Since tonight’s show is in Ryan’s hometown, it felt like the perfect time to ask him to create a poster for Trey.

I love this fun concept he came up with & I hope it resonates with the locals. He snuck in a ton of Buffalo references and even a couple of Buffalo Phish references. How many can you find?

For tonight’s poster, I decided to reach out to an artist whose distinctive style has been catching my eye for years - Tiffany Chin. Not only is this a hometown show for her, but it also happens to be her birthday! I’m so glad she wanted to celebrate the occasion by creating this beautiful poster to commemorate an enchanting night of music at an incredibly gorgeous venue.

When I lived in Grand Rapids, the Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park was one of my favorite places to explore. Stephanie Ellis, of GR-based Field Sparrow Studio, recently made a visit to the park’s Japanese Garden and was inspired to encapsulate its beauty & tranquility in this absolutely gorgeous illustration.

Daniel Augustine is another artist that I just recently stumbled upon, and when I realized that he was based out of Wisconsin, I thought he would be a great fit for tonight’s show. I love how he embraced the region’s history of shipwrecks, legends & lore and created his own 3-part story featuring Lake Superior’s beautiful landscape.

I recently started following Florafauna Ltd. on IG and thought his minimalistic and eye-catching style would be great for a Trey solo show. Soon after reaching out to him, I realized that I first saw his art back in 2009 - when he did a great poster for Phish’s shows in Philly. I really enjoyed working with Paul and bouncing ideas back and forth to end up with this beautiful poster.

In my quest to work with as many new-to-me artists as possible on this series of posters, I stumbled across Iain Macarthur and instantly thought his style would be perfect for tonight’s Trey symphony show. His art drew me in - walking an intriguing line between psychedelic and elegant. I love the way he incorporated the venue’s distinctive pipe organ into this gorgeous illustration and perfectly captured the vibe I was hoping for.

Tonight is going to be an incredibly special night of music - Trey at one of the most beautiful venues in the world, backed by a full symphony orchestra, on a perfect Spring evening. Tonight is also the night that the stars aligned and I finally got to work with my white whale.

Jeff Soto is the artist that sparked my interest in collecting art many years ago. When I first saw his piece “The Seeker”, it instantly resonated with me & I’ve been surrounding myself with his artwork ever since.

Jeff rarely does concert posters, but that hasn’t stopped me from reaching out to him like clockwork over the years. I’m over the moon that he finally said yes & this poster he created for tonight’s show is a dream come true.

Brazilian artist Pedro Correa first caught my eye with his Phish MSG 2019/2020 poster. Since then, I’ve consistently been impressed with his unique & psychedelic illustrations.

The poster Pedro created for tonight’s Trey show is simply breathtaking. I was hoping for something to celebrate Vail’s natural beauty, and he absolutely nailed it. Once again, thanks to @f4dstudios for your help in making it happen.

I’ve been impressed with Nate Dino’s unique & vibrant illustrations for a number of years now, and I’m so glad I reached out to him to create tonight’s Trey poster. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful concept featuring a majestic Rocky Mountain Elk with Trey’s name perfectly weaved into its antlers. Thanks to @f4dstudios for introducing me to another amazing artist and working with us on this one.

I initially reached out to Catie St. Jacques thinking her art style would be ideal for an Acoustic Trey merch design (which it is - see slide 2), and I instantly realized that she would also be the perfect fit for tonight’s poster. The Center Theater is the most intimate venue that Trey has played in recent memory, and Catie’s poster perfectly fits the vibe. We decided to print the variant on a gold foil, and it’s simply stunning.

For this weekend’s Trey poster, I decided to reach out to my favorite Missoula-based poster artist, Twin Home Prints. Max created, illustrated, printed & hand-delivered these beautiful posters himself, right here in town. This is the third time I’ve worked with Max and I’m always so glad I reached out to him.

Fun fact - without spoiling too much about the upcoming artists in this series of posters, Max is the only one that I’ve worked with before. Lots of new Trey poster artists coming up!
