What an amazing turn out for Velo Orange Demo Day with our buddies over at Kobros.

We got lots of people on bikes - Neutrinos, Polyvalents, Lowkickers, Piolets, and a Chessie! We had a great selection of Velo Orange accessories on display as well.

@clinsstagram was in town and we got to talk bikes and drink a very special Kobros original - a cup of fresh OJ, a splash of homemade syrup, sparkling water, and a double shot of espresso - Don’t ask for it…it’s not coming back anytime soon.

🍗 H O L I D A Y S A R E U P O N U S 🎁

It’s that time of year again when friends and family come into town and you need to get away for a couple hours.

@clinsstagram and @spatzzattack were visiting from Colorado, so we had to show them around Norfolk. Brought some @jollibee chicken for them to try, rode through the rings, and even ripped some pokemon cards. If you’re visiting and need to borrow a bike for a group ride, we’ve got you covered!

🌲Snuck some Little Debbie’s Christmas trees into Norfolk’s very early Grand Illumination (pre-Thanksgiving this year). A little peak at a very cool custom 26er with some bike bling. And ending with a happy @spatzzattack and the Jollibee chicken (don’t forget the gravy).

That time I took Nic on singletrack on the wrong bikes.

Underbiking can be a topic of elitism and pretentiousness within the bike community. Internet experts saying things like “that’s not mountain biking, I can do that on my cyclocross bike.”
I like to think of the bike you choose and the way you ride as space. To paraphrase a conversation I had with Franklyn about rhetoric and spaces, take the example of a parent dropping their kid off at school. It takes 15 minutes by car. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the same school by a shortcut, but the parent chooses to drive because they only know the space of cars.
You can take different bikes on the same path. Same place, different space and a different experience. I’m more focused on avoiding flats whereas someone with a beefier bike might be able to optimize speed or show some more style on the same trail. Neither is better than the other, but just a different way to explore. taken in Evergreen, Colorado by @clinsstagram

Nic and I making our way up the classic Mt Blue Sky climb this summer. The road summits at over 14,000ft. Crazy that Nic was at sea level two days before the ride.
The road will be closed until for repairs until Spring 2026. Glad we got to do this ride together! taken in Colorado, USA by @clinsstagram
