One idea has been sitting with me that every achievement begins as a thought, a desire, a picture of something that doesn’t exist yet.

And maybe that’s what this creative journey has been teaching me too.

Before the grade, there is a picture in your mind of how you want the image to feel. Then comes the work of trying to bring that picture to life. You get it wrong. You try again. You learn what you didn’t know yesterday. Slowly, your eye becomes sharper.

This is one of my first real attempt at color grading.

Is it perfect? Absolutely not 😂. But I’m learning not to despise the early stages of becoming good at something.

There’s something beautiful about looking at your first attempt and knowing that one day, you’ll look back at it and see how far you’ve come. growth is not always about arriving.
it’s simply having the courage to keep becoming the person you can already see in your mind.

There is something beautiful about witnessing two people choose each other in a world that changes every day. Somewhere in these frames is a reminder of where it all began.
I remember my brother @_mugoyah inviting me to one of his shoots. I looked through some of the photos he had taken on his Sony Alpha 7IV… and That moment planted a hunger to see differently.
To create more.
To tell stories through light and stillness.
Today when I look at these images, I see growth. I see grace. I see a journey still unfolding.
Sometimes all it takes is seeing what’s possible… and everything changes..

2nd Corinthians 5:17

Every year we say new year, new me, but time alone has never changed a man. A new calendar won’t heal a heart that hasn’t surrendered. Plans are good, goals are fine, but alignment is everything. Scripture reminds us that it’s not a new year that makes us new it’s Christ. So before I chase resolutions, I’m checking my heart. Did I pray or did I just plan? Did I seek God or just success? God isn’t asking for a perfect year, just a present heart. When Jesus becomes first, everything else slowly finds its place. Same God. Same grace. Same favor. I’m stepping into this year with a changed heart and trusting that His favor will do what my effort never could. by @clinton_shotitt

Partly, my llife has been shaped by the men I’ve walked with.
Men like @freddins and @_mugoyah who’ve taught me what it means to move with grace, to stand firm, and to stay rooted what it means to build and rebuild .

And On this day , I found myself beside giants peter ndegwa CEO of safaricom and Adil arshedkhawaja the chairman
But even in moments like this, my heart goes back to the ones who believed early, the ones who shaped the boy into a man .The ones who reminded me that strength isn’t in noise, but in consistency.
These are the voices that shaped the man I am still becoming. And truth be told nobody is self made.
